I really like the Nitto NT555 G2s and its about time for new wheels since I have been on some heavy atermarket rims for about 6 years between 2 different mustangs (2011 and 2016 GTs).

I want to run a 11in RIM in the rear but am having trouble finding a 17x11/11.5 in setup that also has a complementary front RIM in 19x9.5 or 10. I also am having trouble finding the right offsets and a RIM in gloss black. I am supercharged, but daily my car.

Not sure on clearance for the 11in rim on this gen so figured i'd poke the forum and let me know the max tire size. If there is a 11.5 option that fits im down. Remember i want to run a decent size sidewall.

You can easily and correctly fit a 305/45R17 on a 10.5" wheel, which is plenty to hook up extremely well on the street.

Noted. I like the dramatic affect of a big tire :D. If the 11 will fit without problems on a 17. If you know a staggered option that they make my parameters for a 17x10.5 / 19x10 or 17x10.5 / 19 x 9.5 setup, I'm all ears.

Is the max tire size 315? If so, Im there. Im on a 295 currently and 20x10in rim.

Run 305/45R17 MT ET Street SS. They hook up amazing. Don't get hung up on a number.

You can get Forgestar F14 in 17x10.5 and 19x9.5, 19x10

Oh I know the ET line hooks up a I had some ET street pros on a drag setup. I just didn't like the rain drive-ability with them for daily driving. I found the G2s offer both and i'm on a 68mm TB & 3.125 pulley. I figure since i can hook up off a roll on the 295 currently a bigger tire and smaller rim should get me right in the sweet spot on the G2s and still be able to roll 65-70 in moderate rain.

Ah I guess they don't make a 315, 17in tire with a 45 sidewall in the G2s. :(

You're much better off running another tire than the G2. They're really not very special. The NT555R would make some sense for the rear.

Except I'm in Houston, Texas where the rain is rather sporadic. I'd hate to get caught out on a full radial and be in a ditch. I also hated driving 35 MPH home with my hazards on like I did with the ET Street Pros. Idk if they are special, but the treadwear (320) on them were pretty good and I could drive in the rain while still hooking. If the SS does the same I'll roll with those, I just don't have experience with them.
