Manifold makes way less of a difference on a FI setup than a max effort NA setup.

Not saying it doesnt matter but any FI setup is going to care way less about CJ or stock 18 mani.

That being said 18 mani and TB is easier to use than an oval single blade on a CJ too.

The 18 does pretty well n/a that’s where I’m torn on the intake. If it was a good honest 30whp and worth it it’ll still be an advantage when the turbos are installed but it’s not cheap by any means

May just do it anyway but if MSD offered a good option without swapping mounts or worrying about hood clearance and fuel lines it’s be a no brainer

I believe edlebrock offers an intake similar to the cobra jet but keep the factory round tb mount. I know on the 15/17 cars you could keep the strut mount too which you could not with the cobra jet manifold.

For turbo setups the boss 302 used to be a common upgrade but i dont know if its any better than a 18 manifold either.

More info on this Whipple setup by chance? Pulley size(s)? I know it has early suncoast converter, what's stall speed? That's pretty solid be being on a 20" tire! Nicely done.

The NA car has like 4954858 threads but hey its in the 9s now too.

Hello All:

Last Saturday’s first hit to a 1.401 sixty-foot time off the footbrake. The front popped up too quickly but it was the first passes in months on a brand new surface and we didn’t know what to expect. Slowly we tightened up the front and made some tweaks to the Steeda rear shocks and tires and got it leaving more flat with minimal compression. Big thanks to Chris Sehorn and Circle D on a kick-ass new converter and that Steeda suspension that allowed the 10R80 to be the first NA all motor into the 1.3’s in the sixty foot. 1.383 on the last pass.

Working on the video to post - we shared it on Facebook but hard to get it & post it here.
