This is a good idea. I tapped mine into my forth brake light so they light up with the regular lights and the brake lights. Unfortunately, they have sucked all the power from the 4th brake light and no longer works. hahaha. Changing from the forth brake light wire, though, would take away the brake light ability.
I thought about using the 4th brake light, but didn't want to ruin the water proofing down there. Also don't know if parking light mode will be as bright as brake light mode.

Relay? Do you have an example? Electronics confuse me to no end. Especially relays.
I don't have an example. The relay allows you to power the lights straight from the battery instead of the brake light circuit. A little more labor intensive, but would give full battery power to the lights when the brake is applied.

Mine are just as bright as the side markers, so I assume they're getting a full 12 volts. The brake lights would also get 12 volts, but they are brighter due to the circuitry of the taillights.

Is this a reflector delete? LED add? Am I the only guy that is concerned that removing the DOT required reflectors would be a liability-say if someone rear ended my parked car at night because I removed the federal DOT standard required reflectors? I know, such a downer.,,,
You are not the only one.

I just ordered off ebay and am in the process of returning "side marker reflector led lights smoke" which turned out to not be reflectors at all. I REALLY like the led line of light, but NOT giving up the parked at night reflector part. Smoke color would work well on my magnetic, but I'll keep it red if I have to to have proper reflectors.

Has anyone found red or smoke led reflectors for side? 2018 in my case. Or rear? -- that would look cool too.

Anyone making LED reflectors for the 2018+ yet? The companies on ebay say the reflectors fit 2015 and newer, but they dont. They only fit 2015-17.

The 18+ are quite a bit longer than the 15-17's

You guys mean something like this

Which ones are these and do they light up with the running lights too or just brake and turn?

I like the lighted reflectors but don't really care for the back up light in red. What I really want is the lighted pony emblem! You wouldn't have a link to that would you?

Any luck on 2018+ or do we have confirmation that 2015-2017 fits 2018+? They both look the same but hard to tell. I'd love to get some of the cheap ones from ebay but they all appear to be 2015-2017 model specific.

2015-2017 do not fit 2018+. I ordered some from eBay for my 2018 and they were too small. I've yet to find any for 2018+.

Dang, that stinks! Thanks for the confirmation though. Hopefully we can find some soon. I might message a few of the eBay sellers doing the 2015-2017 versions and ask if they can make one for 2018+. Probably no but worth a shot!

If you do manage to find some that fit 2018+, please update this thread with the details. I'd still like to get some for mine, I just gave up looking.
