Loud AC/Heater electric whiny noise?

I’m sorry you had to pay for that. I have an extended warranty but I don’t have any issues with warm are coming out with A/C on. Nor do I have any issues with the heater.

Just the noise, getting louder and louder.
I’m going to have to take it in.

Could be unrelated then, but my guess is the compressor could be on its way out.

I was at 40k, so out of warranty. I had other AC related symptoms, like warm air - so they went to the compressor pretty early on.

How much did you come out the pocket for the compressor to be replaced?
