5.0 Engine buzzing sound

Can anyone tell me what this might be or if it's even an issue? My car has done this since day 1.....doesn't seem to increase with engine RPMS. Here is a video of the buzzing sound coming from the passenger side of the engine.

Hard to tell ... sounds like normal mechanical engine noise to me.

I noticed this sound today too and was also wondering if it was normal. It's some kind of crinkling noise; only comes from the passenger side and is very subtle--and you're right it does not increase with rpms. I've never heard it before. My exhaust has sounded off lately, like an old truck with straight pipes and I was looking for a cause. Wonder if this is it.

Yes was just the PCV valve. Unless its insanely loud you can consider it normal. If it's insanely loud just replace the valve. Good day!

So I am reviving this thread again. I was installing the cowl extension and I heard this off/on buzzing noise for the first time. I have been researching it for hours and this is the first video I found that sounds like it. So its normal and I have nothing to worry about?

getting exact same sound? when you say replace the PCV valve do you mean just that hose piece? i have a UPR catch can do you think that hose is defective

Yet another revive. Just wanted to chime in and say I noticed this identical sound today. If it's just the PCV valave then no biggie, but wanted to verify if it could possibly be something worse.

Unfortunately I never got around to fixing the sound. But it never seemed to be the cause/result of an other issues.

Pretty sure it is the pcv, I went ahead and replaced mine and not much later started doing it again. I wouldn’t worry about it too much although it is irritating as hell
