I just had these installed last Wednesday, and I got about 400 miles on them. I can actually feel a little more "pep" in the car since they are lighter than the OEM. I weighed each wheel on a small load scale we have at work and confirmed CJ Pony Parts claimed weight: 27lbs fr 29lbs re. I went with Continental Extremecontact 275 35 R 20 fr and 315 35 R20 re; I wanted give the car a muscle car stance and I think it hits it perfectly. I stole the idea from the Steeda SM Bullitt. Over the next couple of weeks I will post new pics of the car lowered.

Here is ours from OZ, with the CS11's in Gunmetal, also lowered using the Steeda 1' Magneride springs. Rides and handles very well.

Looks great, I think I'm gonna get these for my Bullitt. I like the style of the stocks but want to go wider tires. Also them being lighter and possibly performing/feeling better is a good incentive too.

No rubbing issues with the 315's out back?

I’m running 315/35x20’s outback! These are the largest the Mustangs will take...no issues whatsoever. Standard tires on the Steeda/McQueen Editions!

I'll be honest, I think the rear tires should be lower profile with 20" wheels. The 315/35 profile is about the same as 275/40, but your wheel is 1" larger in diameter so the tires are over 1" taller than stock. I would think the slightly lighter wheel weight must also be somewhat or mostly offset by the wider, heavier tires both front and back, and larger diameter tires in the rear (changing the effective gear ratio).

All Steeda McQueen Editions are equipped with the 315/35/20’s.. what’s wrong with this picture of mine yesterday!! I love the stance, the wheels and the NITTO’s !! It also closes the gap and gives a much better/softer ride! Something to think about when you hit a pothole!!!

It actually looks pretty good there. But I still think I would prefer 305/35 or 295/35 over 315/35. Plenty wide, and better profile. One advantage of the taller tire, though, is better traction (larger contact patch), so there's that! My perfect staggered setup for the Mustang would probably be 265/35/R20 front and 295/35/R20 rear. I think that would strike a good balance between traction, sidewall height, and tire/wheel weight. Just IMO - as we are all entitled to have one.

The large dia. rear tires remind me of the 5th gen Camaros with their 275/40/R20 in the rear. My Dad has one and I always thought the tires looked a bit too large in diameter.

Definitely agree the 30 profile is too low and creates too much gap IMO. My car is a stock '18 GT PP1 w/ MagneRide so it looks pretty good but could be improved upon. The '18+ PP1 cars with Magneride have a noticeably smaller wheel gap than PP1 w/out MR and base GTs.

How do I post a pic?

They look really nice. I'd like a nice set of black forged LIGHT wheels like those in exactly the same specs as stock. Basically like if they were stock. But I don't trust aftermarket wheels, so will keep the stockers. A guy had very expensive forged wheels, and one broke on a group trip. He ended up on a ditch, but fortunately with no injuries. I don't touch my cars mechanically anymore. If they don't serve me well as they come out of the factory, I buy something that does :D.
