So the official Ford numbers for the PP2 wheels weight is 35lbs front and 37lbs rear. 144lbs total.
(140lbs is you run 10.5in square, 148lbs is you run 11in square)

For comparison the SP2's from SVE are 24.1 front and 24.5 rear. A total of 97.5
(96.4lbs if you run 10in square, 98lbs if you run 11in square)


For those tracking, moving to the SVE wheels will save you about 47lbs in rotational mass (or 43.6 or 50lbs). About enough to keep a full size spare in the trunk and still have a weight savings.

Hey! I can't seem to find these official wheel weights. Thank you for the info as I am looking for same spec new wheels that are MUCH lighter. Do you happen to have a link you found those official numbers for? I don't doubt you but I just would love to see the official link. I wish they were lighter as I love the wheel. Thanks!

Just picked my PP2 about a week ago. Currently at about 250 miles. Anyone heard slight popping noise when turning the wheel full lock during a cold start? Happens when I back out and sometimes when moving forward. I'm chalking it up to the cold tires but I just want to make sure. Anyone have this issue?

Thank you! I'm used to the attention by now since this is my 3rd s550 lol. Had ford buy back my white 18 due to transmission issues with the A10. I'm happy to be back in a manual.

Yeah with the stock wheels/tires I always got a pop when turning the wheel all the way (like when backing out of a parking spot or something)

I think its just the tires. those sport cup 2's are intense.

i think one step down from the sport cups are the pilot sport 4s. much more daily friendly!

I think when my sport cups need to be replaced I'll go with the PS4s. I may go with a narrower front tire though.

Almost 19k miles, lots of track and autocross time.

Bought mine the first of November and there haven't been that many dry days above 45 degrees so I barely have over 500 miles on mine.

Install the set of Michelin pilot sport4S. Tire for our cars if you’re not going to see too much track time . I saved my set of cup 2 tires just in case I go to the track every now and then .
