Steve thanks for the info, my dealer can only tell me its on the way. This forum has given me lots of useful info on my cars progress, my order form has a collection date of 20th April but i am hoping to get it as soon as i can.

The wait is well worth it ..
I have had mine for just over a fortnight and put over 500 miles on it already

I can only agree ! 3 weeks in and what a car. The best bit is not the engine or performance it is just how comfortable it is when cruising along - a proper GT

Only followed one car from order to delivery recently. Ordered in Nov, delivery mid Jan.

The latest on my dates are as follows (dates were updated on the 17th of Jan)

Ordered at dealer : 29th Dec.
Order passed to ford : 30th Dec.
Estimated build date : 9th Mar.
Expected date to dealer : WE 2nd May.

I have a vin (that appeared with the 17th Jan update).

I had read that certain options slow down production, specifically black roofs and Magneride - I have both of those ...

We will have to see if those dates shift any ...

Can i ask if your order was on a finance? Until now everyone’s been telling me for finance customers they push for the models available in stock I just want someone to confirm they have specced theirs on finance.

No I’m not on finance - that option wasn’t best for me.

I was partially interested in a stock car but when I asked on cost, the discount wasn’t as great as I got on a factory order. I must have caught them on a good day ... lol

Are the cars still brought in via Belgium (I think) or straight to uk ? Only reason I ask in the small print it says depending on brexit negotiations there could be up to 10% tariff added if from eu

Fear not, if my experience is anything to go by, March 2019, my car was delivered to Liverpool before being sent on to the dealer I purchased from.

I’ve asked my dealer for order no. n dealership no. He replied - Great news is it is already serialised so has been assigned a chassis/vin number which is a good sign! - not sure what this means I thought vin no. Means it’s about to be built ?

Not likely - it means that the order has been confirmed and your build has been send to plant and is awaiting. Your dealer should be able to track a estimated build date for you, but if you can get the VIN from him you can take contact to Ford Performance and get information about the build date.

Since you're located in EU you will have to use a VPN and set location to US to be able to chat with Ford Performance - or you can throw me the VIN either here or in a PM and I'll talk to them and get back to you with an update

In case other people from outside US wants an update on their current estimated build date you can also just hit me with your VIN and I'll help you out
