With myself being pretty new to gt350 ownership i'm just tossing some feelers out there. I've seen a couple things I like and dislike. I definitely don't want to add the cheap or tacky look of some mods but some i don't mind. I've thought about wrapping the car a wild color but how much is that sacrilegious? I do like to stand out but sometimes its the subtle things that mainly other mustang owners will see and maybe appreciate.

I like to wear an official branded Shelby jacket that I use at all times when I am driving my Shelby. My favorite modification is the signature of Carrol that I have on my dash. Whenever I am sad or down, I look at that signature of Carrol Shelby and I think...damn....im driving a Shelby!

Keep it clean and drive the crap out of it. That's what it's for. It doesn't take much of a trained eye to see a GT350 or GT350R coming down the road.

Nothing I can or would do to it that it doesn't do by itself as is. We all have our tastes, but a Shelby is obviously a Shelby.

I agree a bright wrap in something like pink would be a bit tacky. But maybe a nice fuchsia for some class...

And the tone of the exhaust turns heads.

I think some neon lights under the body would be great. Make it flash different colors and sync it up to some rap music, and add some really big sub-woofers in the back.

I like lots of subtle mods. Nothing extreme, just the factory design turned up 1 notch. The car doesn't scream crazy on the street, but parked next to other GT350's you begin to see numerous small subtle changes. Some mor subtle than others.

Step 1 - remove all interior
Step 2 - put on ridiculously large aero bits
Step 3 - build cracked out motor
Step 4 - drive it like a crazy person

Honeybadger , what’s with the fender vents? I figured the vents behind the front wheel already take relieve high pressure from the wheelwell area. Is there a proven benefit per somemtesting or FP race cars?

To the OP, getting an instructor and seat time on track and then passing higher dollar cars like Z06’s, 911GT3’s, Cayman GT4’s with a lowly old and heavy Mustang gets you noticed :like:.

More to your question I have found the painted strut bar and coil covers to match the vehicle paint scheme goes over well when the hood is up.
