From what I gather in reading the threads from the UK section, the GT350 is NOT imported to the UK.
Am I correct?
If I am, why?
I am a new owner and have only been on this forum since last April of '19. So don't flame me if this is an old topic, an old rant, or something I should have already known.
I would just hate to think that the GT350's are not shipped to the UK... you folks love cars over there...!!!
Uhhhhh.... Aston Martin, Ariel Atom and Reliant Robin (OK forget the last one).
If I am correct, why are the GT350's not shipped to the UK?

We get a very restricted list of models and options, we definitely don't get the GT350 but we did get the Bullitt. It's probably down to us being rhd.

RHD = Right Hand Drive, fortunately for us the Reliant Robin was only available in right hand drive.

Also too much money to get the GT350 emissions compliant over here. I think if it used the standard Coyote boosted in some way it might make it but sales numbers for RHD means it is too expensive.

ie the passenger does the steering.

Same situation with GT500 and Shelby super snake

Those engines will not meet EU emissions regulations without significant development.

Given Mustangs already niche market in the EU, the volumes just canā€™t make money.

well... actually, the EU law regarding emissions is VERY dodgy. All of the car on them road produce 5 to 6 times more emissions than what is stated in the brochure.

The EU law permits an engine to produce more emissions if it means the engine has to "protect itself". Hence, its a loop hole which is exploited by all European manufacturers.

Problem is, by the time the GT350's get here and the price range, the market will evaporate as there is a lot of competition. Just look at the facelift.

The GT350 would be a big seller if came to the UK, there's nothing out there similar.

Serveral performance cars have higher emissions than GT350 and are sold in the UK. So does not make sense why they restrict the 350 on emissions, especially if the 350 is deemed a niche car.

There isnā€™t a problem importing any mustang privately most donā€™t want to drive a left hand drive car and the small numbers of GT350 or GT 500 is not cost effective for ford to make in right hand drive for U.K. or pass other controls other countryā€™s want on their cars but as a individual most cars can be used in U.K. with very little modifications, if I had the cash and could drive a stick(disability) would have definitely had a GT350R , luckily I have managed to rent a Shelby GT-S this weekend , 10 speed auto supercharged
