Went up to Bradenton to try the 1/4 jan 2.
Weather was 72 degrees, barrow about 29.98, hum 90+. DA was over 1000, maybe as hi as 1400.
First pass i tried drag mode, leaving in sport on shifter at 1600 rpm , 24 psi in michelin s4 rear , 35 front. 1/2 + tank of gas, 270 pd driver, bone stock gt. I kept in sport till after the second shift.
I couldn,t tell where the finish line was and let off early and killed th 1/4 mph.
60 ft. 1.968
330. 5.391
1/8th mi 8.006. Mph 91.48
1000ft 10.301
1/4. 12.284. Mph108.41
Best 1/4 mile mph on 4 more runs
Trying other launch rpms, start in drag mode, every pass got progressively worse!
Best mph. Was 114.63 but the 60 ft was 2.208 and a lot of spin after the 1/2 and 2/3 shifts netted a very poor 12.909 et to go with that best 114.63 mph.
They were spraying and prepping the track and i drove around the water every pass.
I have no clue what to try on the next outing. Opionions?

I have the basic stop the hop Steeda kit and BMR vertical links. Forgot to mention that. Still have some wheel hop. Will be putting in spherical steel bushings or delron? In the lower control arms next.

I tried more rpm on launch in drag mode, leave off idle in drag mode, 1000 rpm in sport/dragmode, all worked worse and the last pass in the right lane(first 4 left lane). I called it a night when it spun so bad it ran 13.50!

Michelin. S4, the stock pp1 tires. Best hooking summer tire with a 30,000 mile guarantee.

Not bad! I think your mph in the 1/8 is around where a stock 5.0 will be. That was mine. Now on a tire, tune and cat delete mph has gone up to a 97.

At Bradenton I ran an 11.3 at 123 so once you add the tires, you’ll see a huge improvement!

You need a drag radial to be able to leave & they will also kill the wheel hop. I have a pair of 26" MT dr's on cheap AM 17" Bullitt wheels on my 19 PP1 base model(no drag mode). Other than that I have the Steeda Stop the Hop & Roush catback. Still on stock tune. Mine has ran 11.91 in -500 da & 12.2 in +2000 da. Get a set of dr's.

Thanks the the input guys! I will have to get a set of tires but will have to drive to the track 90 miles on them. OU81 those 17 AM rims fit the stock 2019 brembo brakes as is? That would be the way i would go. It was frustrating with not being consistant enough for even a rough comparison.
The last pass it lit the tires up so bad it ran 13.53 at 113mph!

They fit the rear on a PP1 but not the front. They are $99 a piece S197 fitment 17x9's & weigh 53 lbs with the tire.

As others have said, you need DRs to stop the hop and to hook. I have been using MT ET street Rs on the same wheels as OU81. My track is 100 miles from home so I just change them at the track. The DRs, cordless impact wrench and floor jack all easily fit in the trunk.

Mickey Thompson ET Street Rs are legit. Bradenton from my house was like 124 miles one way. I drove there and switched, yeah it was too much of a hassle for me so I drove back home with the tires on. I don’t think I’ll personally do that again.

I don’t think the 12.2 is bad. I couldn’t best a 12.7 while stock.

Why was swapping rear wheels a hassle?
