I am considering doing a trunk lid swap. I have a PP1 spoiler and would really like a spoiler delete lid. Are all 2015-2020 trunk lids the same as far as fit goes? Gotta narrow down potential swappees if there are differences. TIA

I know the coupe and convertible trunk lids are different, but differences from year to year, IDK

You can swap tail lights from the 15-17 style to the 18-20 or vise versa and the decklid panel where the GT emblem is swapable between years, so my best guess is the lids itself are the same but I can't confirm.

I would think they're the same trunk. PPs from 15-17 had spoiler deletes. Everything else had that crappy small blade spoiler.

I think there are 18+ cars that have spoiler delete as an option.

Doors to trunk are the same for the 15-20 coupes, lights, rear bumper, and spoiler are the differences.

Yeah, 18 and up have the spoiler delete. Unfortunately my car came with the crappy lip spoiler, which I would've deleted if I'd ended up ordering one. For the convertible, I think it looks slick clean. I would've gladly traded the spoiler for the spare tire kit, which I had to add to the car.

I remember people doing this when the 15’s first came out.. the only issue was sometimes the backup camera would freak out and not function properly. I think they got it all sorted out with resets or BCM updates....

Yeah after reading this thread just right now I did a research on Tasca. The 2015 trunk lid has the same part number as the 2019. So apparently all S550 coupes that are Oxford White are candidates. Thanks again

The only difference that M6G members have noted about any of the trunk lids:

The black 2015-17 rear decklid panel is unique to the 2015-17’s and the same is true for the 2018-current.

If trying to install a 2015-17 decklid panel onto a 2018-current, there are some extra plastic nubs that need to be modified or removed so the panel will mount properly. I can’t recall the thread, but it was found out after a member tried to mount a prior decklid panel to a 2018 after the MY refresh.

There’s no difference in the actual sheet metal stampings.
