@HELLION TURBO

do you have a dyno sheet with a 5th gear 1 to 1 pull with RPM so we can all see when the turbo’s come online?

if you do, please post it along with the configuration of the kit...

Also, it would be cool if the pull started around 2k

Hey guys,

We have been working on a low mount Street Sleeper turbo kit for the 5.2 and its now in stock! We can option many turbos including water cooled units for extreme duty road racing if desired. Please let us know if you have any questions. Check out the images!

Here is a dyno graph from our first Street Sleeper GT350 dyno installed by Scott @ Extreme Mustangs! 820 rwhp!!

I know some of the shops that install twin turbo setups like to sleeve the block. What do you recommend. Maybe on a higher HP setup?
Thanks

Hello.

We only see the need to sleeve in applications over 1000 rwhp. The stock block is very capable with stock sleeves in a entry setup.

OK, that's kind of understandable. If your kit is for a higher compression engine like the GT350 do you include turbos that move lower volumes of air, compared to a lower compression engine originally designed for boost?
Thanks again.

That is dictated by the overall boost level we settle at. The great thing is we can set that to be happy with whichever fuel you choose to use. (E85, Pump, Etc.)

Any reviews of someone with one of these kits installed? How much engine work needed for 1000+ hp to prevent a catastrophic failure?

Also I ran into a guy that just installed this kit locally but didnt have enough time to get the details at the red light. Hope to run into him again.

1000+ i would do the Full Monty being rods/pistons and honestly i'd consider sleeving it because 1200+ i'd want sleeves anyway and with turbos... that's just getting a little greedy with the boost controller away once you get the fueling system sorted.

Honestly 1000+ i'd plan on doing a t-56 mag conversion as well because the gear ratios are just so short in our trans you'd be constantly shifting till you got to 5th.

low 800s just the kit, and boost a pumps would probably be fine.

Thanks for the info, so going over rhe 800 mark equals an additional 10 to 15k.

i'm wanting to know what blower setup is possible w/o swapping out the OPG/CSS. i'd be open to doing the blower install myself but i dont think i'd feel confident doing the OPG/CSS.

they all are ok to use without changing the opp/css.....this is just insurance and a recommendation. Our voodoo’s have a ton of vibration and that makes me think it is a good idea. I would even do it stock if i had the money (and do valve springs and a cpc conversion).

i’d love to do something low boost roots/tms but not if it means losing the trust tower brace.

I see that High Flow cats are an option on this kit. Does the standard kit eliminate the OEM cats or reuse them?

@HELLION TURBO have any of your customers done lapping/HPDE days with this kit? How did it hold up?
Does the low placement of the turbos help with cooling from air running over the car? Does the heat rise into the engine bay/need evacuation?

I'd love to get this kit and basically run it on the WGs only and make nice power for some street/drag fun, but I typically do 4-8 track days a season and I'd like to know what I'd be in for.

I'm fine with running a street tune vs track tune where the track tune would be on E85 only and with low timing for longevity/heat but I'm curious HOW MUCH heat I'd actually need to manage/if it's even feasible.
