Since you are modding it, a set of black/red hood stripes to match the R would really look nice.
I would Absolutely go for the striping on the truck I was iffy about it but I actually get people asking me all the time where I got them from.... eBay specials baby.... 120$ if your interested I’ll send the link, but it’s pretty self explanatory-

Nope that's the benefit of the 4 post. It has casters I can install to drop it on to move it around, without a car on it of course. It's 1600 lbs and very stable with a car on it

Oh, well that’s really a good feature for it to be mobile! I only asked because I’ve been around and am used to lifts that are totally secured and bolted to the floor and when I saw yours wasn’t, that peaked my interest just a little... LOL

My garage is 2-car and width is ok and my ceiling is close to 14ft. so the lift that you have, without having to secure it to the floor is definitely something I need to look into.

Talking about the black piano finish and the potential for scratching? The ceramic helps for sure.. good rinse, foam cannon, nice wash glove and high pressure air dry..

First dry wash at home after ceramic coating..168 miles.

I want to help you manage that stress, send the car to me for driving, washing and waxing and you can forget all about it.

Haha,ok yea that is a great plan. She will be on her way tomorrow.

So i understand the foam cannon and leaf blower to dry but what about when you do a "dry wash"? My fat fingers cant seem to make their way in those crevaces.

I use a leaf blower when I am done driving to knock off the large dust, then I use a California Duster followed by a spray detailer. Seems to work well for me. Really nice R by the way, I like the color / stripes.

Much appreciated, i will try that strategy. As of now im using the stuff my ceramic guy recommended. I put it in a spray bottle, use a specific sponge then MF it dry.
It took 5 MF towels and 50 minutes, im trying to find the right process becauss i cant imagine that process each time before i take it out.

I think you have your hands full with your 15 cars to give my car the proper attention.

As long as your other lik ladies wont get jealous of the new beauty.

But in l honesty, which vehicle do you enjoy driving the most?
I put the most miles on the Bullitt, it is my favorite to drive around town and on trips.

Been about 3 years since I painted my garage floor with the Grey Epoxy Kit W/Flakes:
IMG_0305-1.jpg

A lot of wear/tear on this floor in the last few years with everything from rear-end changes to a lot of welding & burn marks.
Since The Grey speckled floor is hard to touch-up & match, I decided to re-do the floor using a solid colored epoxy coating.
I prepped the floor by roughing-up/sanding the existing epoxy finish.

008-b.jpg

A rented floor sander from Home Depot , my wife took over for the final finishing sanding.

I also added some anti-skid / gripping compound to the new epoxy.

What more appropriate color than: 'Ford Blue'
