Although those 17’s aren’t considered a light weight wheel, I thought they be less than 50lbs with a tire. Hard to beat for the money though

They are less than 50lb . The pic showing 59lbs is the 19x10 wheel with tire.

The 17x8 with et street r mounted is 49 pounds.

I looked up actual drag wheels and they're all over 47 lbs with tires mounted. So why pay $300+ per wheel.

I mean 49.6lbs is 50lbs. I guess I just assumed the wheels and tires would be lighter. My 19x11’s are only a couple pounds heavier (am shows 20.5lbs for those wheels on their site) But the construction and manufacturing methods are different between the two so I suppose it’s apples to oranges

What wheels do you have ? And weight with tires mounted ?

A have a set of Apex ec-7’s. I don’t have tires mounted on them yet but the few I’m considering are 28-29lbs. And the wheels are 24.5lbs each so we’ll say 25. I prefer the looks of the 19’s but their 18’s fit over pp brakes so I could’ve gone with them and saved even more weight. I’d say each wheel/tire combo shouldn’t be anymore than 55lbs per corner

Good weight savings for the money. A lot of people don’t know the old sn95 wheels fit on the rears of our cars. I’m a sucker for a good looking nice set of drag wheels but the name of the game is speed per dollar, right?

I did the same last yr on my 19 PP1. Sure a drag pack looks amazing but I just cant bring myself to pay that much for a set of wheels that are just on the car for a few hours at a time here & there. For the money the AM Bullitts make a great dr set up.
