SO i'm just curious, I sort of like the drag car look. But I can not find any pictures of what I want to do. I was considering 19x9.5 wheels in front with 20x11 in the rear. Has anyone done this? can it be done? if so any issues with it? handling? and so on... looking for input or pictures of 18-19 gt with this set up. Like I said IM just curious. I know speedo and all that will be out of whack but any other down sides?

I had thought the same thing and started a thread, but got a small response. So thinking I'm too old and it not style now or no one has a clue on what we are talking about.
I have 255/40/19 stock which gives a 4" sidewall
I thought of increasing rear to a 45 a 4.5" sidewall, or 50 which will give a 5" sidewall. These sidewall aren't exact but close for clarity. But these tires or expensive to experiment with.
My thinking was the 50 series sidewall will give you a 1" lift in rear, fill up fender well better, but with stock springs .... Wasn't sold enough to purchase tires considering my current tire fender gap.

Then I thought about lowering car 1/2" or so all the way around and then doing the big tire in rear. Right now this is where I am. Currently I have three fingers gap between top of tire and fender front and rear Which is close to 2".

Yeah well everytime I start a thread in the main room where it actually gets replies the mods move it to some sub thread where it dies and no one answers anything or even looks. Thanks for the info. I already have staggered tires but want a even more pronounced stance in the rear so im looking at the actual wheel not the tires. I want to run a 19 inch rim on front and a 20 inch rim on back so the rear wheel is noticeably different from the front. I also want to run a 9.5 wide tire in front and a 11 wide in the rear. Give it a real drag car look. I lowered front 1.2 inches but not rear in anticipation of me doing this set up.

Got to keep the sizes close otherwise the traction control will do funky things as it thinks the car is losing traction

So I appreciate the replies but it seems I worded my question wrong I think. IM asking about different sized /wheels/rims not the tires. I already have staggered tires and know i can use different size tires on front and back. My question is can I use different sized rims/wheels on from and back as in their diameter. 19 on front and 20 on back. I know this sounds crazy but I like the exaggerated drag look. Think of the prowler.... like that. Not as exaggerated but similar. just 1 inch difference not crazy like the prowler.

I'm running 19 inch rims 10 front 11 rear in these pictures with Nitto 555 G2 305/35 rear and 285/35 front. This gives the rear tires a beefier look than the front. The 35 is calculated as the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the tire width. Personally I would stay with the same diameter rims. Now I'm running Pilot Super Sports and love them over the Nittos.

This me as of now. Eh just wanting that more drag look. Not sure how to say it otherwise... I guess I want the back higher up a more raked look. hard to do that with same diameter rims front and back. I tried a smaller sidewall tire on front that didn't work to much gap. I lowered just the front 1.2 and that helped. I have 265/40/19 on front and 275/40/19 on back with 1 inch spacer

A wider tire will also help give you a "drag car look". If your offsets are right a rear tire as wide as 315 will tuck.

I think you’d have better luck just getting a drag pack lol. BUT if you wanted to replicate the look, run a 18” up front with say a 255/40 and a 305/35 20 in the back

that is if you don’t have a performance pack. Idk if 18’s fit those

Don't see a problem with rim being different, but when I was doing my research I thought the same things about springs. I talked to Steeds and basically NO!
One way to solve that issue is with adjustable coil overs, set them any where you want it.
If I understand what you are thinking you may consider this:
8 1/2" Front wheel no spacers, so they tuck way under fenders then your big wheel on back so tires are at fenders. Do this with spacers or wheel width. I agree with your thought of lowering front, but you would need a custom set to get that rake, or coil overs.

True. I'm running 315/35/20's with a +50 offset in back lowered on Steeda dual rate springs and have no issues with anything. No special camber, and they are flush with my outside fender, but don't poke.
