I got the spare the dealers are selling - slim, space saver with jack and brace.
I’m away ATM and can’t check my car - but had a bad thought.

Are the standard Mustang wheel lock nuts suitable for that wheel spare wheel?

Better do dry test run when I get back.

Not sure about the standard Mustang nuts as I have aftermarket wheels. I'm sure my "Gnome" spare wheel came with the appropriate wheel nuts when I got it from Tempe Tyres, because I have them in a bag in the boot with the spare.

If the Mustang spare you purchased from the dealer is one of ours (which is the Ford approved one) then yes you use the genuine Ford OE wheel nuts that are on the Factory wheels.

just so people are aware the kit sold by Ponyparts is a closer match the the diameter of the original rear tyres than what Ford is offering

Isn't it already in the car. I bought the pony parts wheel and have the threaded spindle but have the feeling it was holding something else down before.
I don't know, as I don't have the car yet. I assumed, however, that cars not set up with spare wheels wouldn't have jack kits.

Earlier in this thread people were talking about buying old FG Falcon jack kits for example?

Sorry. I thought you were asking about the tie down. The Pony Parts wheel I bought came with the jack and handle. I think the car came with the tie down.

Pony Parts advertisement says it all comes with the wheel.

Well, both things... so let's split the difference on that :) Cheers for your reply.
