2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 1

So I have some questions about all of this. The dealership I’m working with in Opelika AL ordered 0552 on 08/09. Right now it’s scheduled for 02/10/2020 and I know the holiday shutdown is coming soon. Does anyone think they might start building it any earlier? Or am I just one of the unlucky ones that will see their beauty in March? I live in the Tampa Fl area but had to look else where to get one. I might have just picked the middle of nowhere, but they where really good to work with. Thanks for any insight.

So my original build was 11/27 but got pushed back to 2/24. I talked to FP just yesterday and asked if their was a possibility to get push up and he said the chance were unlikely. He also said the winter shut down was going to be two weeks and not until March as rumors were circling. So that’s good news

Good to know, your the first that has had any luck, everyone else have complained the info was dated and usually stated that the railcar was sitting empty somewhere far away from were it should be.

I was pleased the system worked for me. Was able to track it from FRAP; to Battle Creek, MI; to Salem, IL (where it shifted over to UP); to Pine Bluff, AR; to Camden, AR; to Omaha, TX; and finally to Mesquite, TX.
Interesting wording when the rail car got to Mesquite: “Load has been Constructively Placed.” That was at 8:05 AM today, now it says: “Placed at Customer Location at 3:46PM.” I’m presuming this means the rail car is in a place to off-load the vehicles. My dealer asked to be called as soon as its unloaded and he will go get it.
Fun fact: Omaha, TX is near where Carrol Shelby grew up and lived (Pittsburg, TX), and the rail car went right through his hometown.

That's great news, truck is the way to go. A lot less complicated and more efficient. Your status is Received Awaiting Shipment and the next step is Shipped Convoy.

It's funny, when I ordered my 2013, Ramp 51 was referred too as Area 51.
