Need some advice from the gurus! Need a new square summer setup!

Hey all, so I finally committed to 19” winter tires for my factory black package wheels. This means that between now and spring I need to purchase a new summer setup. Things to consider, I daily drive my car, currently on stock base GT suspension. Car goes to the drag strip a few times a year as well. Need to run a squared setup so I can rotate easily.

All that being said I love the PP2 squared setup but from what I read on here they tend to tramline and aren’t ideal for daily? What is the widest tire you guys would run on a daily? Trying to gather as much info as I can and purchase either Black Friday or Christmas/Boxing day sales ;)

ok so after doing a bunch of reading this afternoon on the topic I think I’m still wanting to go with a 19x11 square setup utilizing 305/30/19’s like the PP2 cars.

That being said I’m a newbie when it comes to spacers (never used them) as well as what wheels in a 19x11 have an offset that can be used front and rear?

Ideally I’d like to get rid of the poke that the PP2 cars have on the front end. Can this be done on the above setup using caster/camber plates?

You’ll need a +50mm offset with extended studs and 25mm spacers up front. For your stated usage I don’t really see the point in going 305 square. There’s many more experienced people on the board than me, but my suggestion would be 19x10” square +35 to 40mm offset with 275/40 or 285/35 tires for a daily driver

I'd recommend a 19x10 +35 setup with 285/35R19 tires like Indy 500, Conti ECS or Michelin PSS or PS4S.

I’m planning to boost the car hopefully this summer so I’m trying to keep as large a contact patch in the rear that I can for that. This is the main reason I want to run the 305’s at all 4 corners as well as the fact I can still rotate them easily with a 25mm spacer in the front.

My question now is...what hubcentric wheel spacers do you recommend and which part number ARP extended wheel studs do I need? I assume the longest version?

Also, is there anyone running a squared 305 setup that could snap some pics? Wondering what the fronts will look like once complete...I know the factory PP2 cars have some poke on the fronts that I would like to avoid if possible.

I’m planning on using the 19x11 SVE PP2 replicas with +50mm offset on all four corners.

Thanks for the link brother, much appreciated! Now I just need to find out if a 20mm front spacer with be enough to run 305/35/19 as opposed to 305/30/19. Would like to minimize front poke if possible.

For DD I personally would do 255 or 275 on 19x9.5 ET35. LOTS of wheels to choose from and lots of tires likewise. If you're wed to 305 in the rear, run a 9.5 front and 10.5 or 11 rear. You can find quite good wheels for damn cheap ($65-130 each) at those sizes.

You're going to want at least 2 deg and as much as 2.5 to run a 305 width tire up front. And ET24-27 most likely.
I don't see how /30 or /35 is going to going to matter much.
