I used to be a ford tech at a dealer....you NEVER get the first couple years of anything.....i dont care what it is. You should have seen all the recalls and service bulletins when the Ford GT came out in 2005 (ithink)
I don’t disagree with your point, but my 17 raptor has been pretty solid despite new engine, transmission, shocks, ect. Will say I had some door latch freezing issues and trans got an update to smooth out, but otherwise good to go. I do have an 8yr warranty though, for the reasons you mention ;)

We all knew this day would come. GT350's for $10k off sticker. There are new 2017, 2018 and 2019 MY's.

The only thing about a new performance Mustang coming out and then dropping in value that I just don't get is why people still pay high markups the first year or two. They drive up production numbers making long term value uncertain. It's 2007 all over again.

The '19+ cars use GT500 heads. Many speculate the power is actually there but Ford doesn't bother to recertify. No dire need to, really.
Thanks. I totally forgot about the 2019 review feeling extra power.

If the 2019s dip to 8-10K off, I'm all in on GT350 again on price point. We'll see in early spring. Still holding out for GT500 at MSRP until then.

Yes, saying there is more power just gives the insurance companies an excuse to charge more money. No then might as well leave status quo.

There are deals to be had if you call around. I found a group in Nebraska willing to sell me a'19 with track and convenience pack for 59k OTD. The product cycle on the 19's was short and people are waiting for the GT-500 and C8. I think come spring time you may be able to get one in the mid 50's.

Search around dealers in the Northeast and other states that have snow on the ground. The reality is most of these dealers will be stuck with GT350's parked on the lot/showroom until April/May. They know that and will likely discount the 19's a ton, and maybe even take a small loss otherwise these cars will be sitting for 4-6 more months.

I felt good about not paying ADM in August, now with the prices under MSRP and no ADM .... not so much

Sure you can look back and feel not so good but if I was you, I'd just add me to the list of folks wishing they had a GT350 - so enjoy it.

You shouldn’t look back with regret, especially if you paid a fair price. Everything always gets cheaper. If you had waited until now, how much would have you been able to use your new car living in LI due to winter conditions? You got at least three months of driving in that you otherwise may not of had.

Well that certainly puts it in perspective....as I am enjoying the 350....
With the prices dropping on new leftovers I hope you can get into one.
I agree this years driving season was not nearly long enough, here in NY the prices don’t drop like in other parts of the country.

I bought mine December 22, 2017. It sat in the garage for nearly 3 months and it killed me to not be able to drive it. I would have gladly paid a couple grand more to of had it during the summer months.

I have snow tires coming this week. I drive all my sports cars year long. They clear the roads here fast anyway and winter tires are used more for the cold pavement than driving in snow, but I just don't see the point in the car sitting in the garage just because it is a clear sunny day and 30 degrees outside. I have a JL Jeep Wrangler for the really bad days, but not once have I ever had an issue (accident, affected the value of trade in, etc). I wash the undercarriage and use a number of products to keep the snow/salt off. I just can't imagine putting the car in the garage for 3-6+ months every year.

I ordered & own a 19....there was no "track" option. Do you mean the handling pkg? the old track options are std on 19's and even earlier.
