I'm curious if anyone else has run into this... I have a 15' GT. I added the Ford Performance strut tower brace. It has now become a task to remove and replace the oil dipstick. It appears that the opening for the dip stick is smack in the middle of the strut tower brace, Has anyone found this?
Any remedy?

I have the FRP Strut tower brace installed. The dipstick bends around it. Kind of annoying but its still usable.

Yep. I have to bend the dipstick around the brace... oh well.

Use a hole saw and drill a 2" diameter hole in the strut tower brace directly above the dipstick.

Problem solved.

Aww, come on, guys. Just put in one of these and then you can't fit a strut tower brace. Solves two problems at the same time.

Not a problem. This is why it bends. OMG.

I’d be afraid to fold the car in half with all that power and no brace!

OP... bend it like Beckham, it’ll work just fine.

It just bends, so yeah you're worrying about nothing. However, I will admit that sometimes getting a fully accurate reading with the strut tower in place can be a pinch annoying in the way you need to maneuver around the strut tower as you can end up getting oil on the stick as you pull the damn thing out of the port.
