So shifting above 6900 rpms is a no go for my car. I just found that at 6900 and above the clutch pedal sticks to the floor and doesn't return until rpms drop. It's a stock or stock replacement clutch. Car has steeda braided clutch line and stock return spring. I have heard of the s197 cars doing it, but not so much on the s550 cars. Just wondering what is causing it to stick down at high rpms, it's driving me crazy. Luckily I have a mgw shifter and rst clutch, aluminum flywheel, slave cylinder and pilot bearing sitting in the garage, just have to find time to install.
