Thanks for the input everyone. I have no need for the Sync, drag mode or anything else. As long as with E85 & drag suspension, it's not a disadvantage at the track I'm most likely getting a 300A with 3:15 in Twister Orange.

Yep, you will set with that setup.

I have a 2018 300A because I did not want all the extra "stuff". So I am happy with it and regret nothing. You have to get what you want. I mostly drive my Mustang for fun with the windows down listening to the "music" of the Whippled Coyote as the Steeda suspension tries to keep the PS4 shodden Apex wheels planted. I wish you the best whatever you decide. Take a little more time to decide if necessary, hopefully you will be enjoying it for many years.

My 301a car weighs 3650 on 20's. Not really as heavy as I would have thought. I like the modes, but today was the first time I've put the shifter in S, and not used the paddles, tossed it in track mode, and honestly, the shifting in that mode, gear holds, etc..is about perfect. Normal mode is ass, drag mode is great with a stock car, ton of fun, but really, I think it's way harsher than you'd want with boost, especially if it breaks the tires loose on a stock car shifting into 4th.

On a NA car I think you're better off with 3.55 gears.

Maybe but I'm not convinced of it and went with 3.15's that are working out just fine and I'd stick with them if I could do it over again.

A side benefit of the 300a once tuned is you can actually unplug all the nannies at the airbox and still have drag mode shifts. A drag mode car cannot.

I can tell you the difference at the track. I carried my 300a a10 GT yesterday that I just bought. I went a 12.15@119 completely stock on stock 235’s. There were several 301a cars there that were stock. I saw 1 on the stock 235’s go 11.85@121 and the other 12.0@120. The 2nd car needed a driver mod
