None yet. This was a facebook story that the fab shop posted that I screenshot to share here. I'm looking to collect the car on Monday. Should have many pics posted that night.

Happy Thanksgiving, Walt and all you other folks! :turkey::turkey:
Ok sounds good, can't wait to see the finished product!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Mustang is planned to come home tmrw morning. It has snowed every day since Tuesday. It's icy out now. It will be towed here, but... wish me luck.

God forgive me for getting this car so dirty. The accidents happening around the tow rig were terrifying, but we made it in one piece on the hour, icy drive home.

I'll be working on painting the cage next. Then putting in the interior, windshield, and parachute release kit.

The fab shop walked me through the trouble they had with the pre-cut cage kit from FatFab. Seems like a lot of the problem is just quality control. Bars bent out of square, don't match side to side. Lengths were incorrect, some too long, some too short. The d-bars were for the same side vs left and right which posed problems. The window net kit did not come with lower provisions to secure to door bar. In the end the kit works, but it cost me more for the time the fab shop took to iron out all of those details and get it right.

And SHOWTIME!

Props for making safe and complying with track rules. Good progress. What’s your plan for blower?
Thanks. This is the less sexy side of racing. Would much rather just invest in the go fast stuff.

If the p1x sells, I'll move to an f1a-94. If it doesn't, I'll pulley down the p1x and give'er hell next season. Long term would be f1a-94 or big single and built long block....and likely a trans change. Lots of time to figure that out, though.

Placed an order with Summit for:
- por-15 undercoating for the underside of the car for where there was work done from the cage
- top coat por-15 for painting the welds on the rear parachute bar
- roll cage clamps to help pin the bottom of the window net
- roll cage helmet hook

Took advantage of FatFabs 20% off sale to order a passenger side kirby seat mount to match the driver side.

Again, next steps:
- Remove dash
- Prep cage
- Plastic and tape off the car
- Paint cage
- Reinstall dash
- Install Optic Armor windshield
- Trim and install interior pieces
- Mount parachute release kit

F#&k that. When I built my 95 race car. The dash was such a pain. I just had them fab me an aluminum dash instead of trying to reassemble the original. Your a better man than me.

Made some progress in the garage today. Put in plastic and taped everything up before sanding and cleaning the cage for paint. Got the first and second coats done. Now we wait two days before moving forward.

Anyone know how I can get my hands on a replacement trim strip from the bottom of the windshield? It's the plastic piece that fits nicely between the windshield and the cowl/wiper arm cover. I only see them sold with the windshield itself so far.

Unrelated to your question. I noticed the seat isn't attached to the roll bar. Im fairly certain that's a requirement. Was that overlooked. Or just not gotten around to yet?
