I’m receiving a hefty bit of suspension parts tomorrow and will be tossing them on, what do people do with stock parts? Keep them Incase car is totaled or toss or sell them if they are even worth anything

my car has 15k miles if matters.

if worth basically nothing, I will just toss it all in trash after install at the shop.

what would you do?

Not worth anything except to someone returning to stock prior to trade in or who's stock bits have worn out and they think to buy used instead of replace with new OEM parts.

So you’d toss it in trash? Maybe I will post craigslist:fb add saying, 50-100 bucks for
full struts shocks springs
brakes rotors calipers
sway bars

to pick it all up at place I take off

I honestly would give it away before I throw it, but I would rather sell it before all. Spuds car is gt so it’s drive train is much better than the base eco of the models.

right about repairs, I bet someone with a damaged or mod car would be most interested.

If it was or is an ‘18 or newer, the shocks are better and a cheap up grade to someone with a 15-17 model car. But 17 hardware and older not so much.

I kept my stock stuff in a container in my closet, just in case something ever goes wrong with my Steeda stuff or I want to part it out before trading in and try to sell the Steeda parts for more. In the end, I'll probably end up tossing them or giving them away to someone in the local FB group who might want them as replacement parts.

Mine are still sitting in a box in the garage, springs, bushings, bolts, everything.

Why I am keeping them, who knows?
