For those who have a Quickjack and Steeda Jacking Rails, how well do the two work together? Would you recommend the 3/4 Jacking Rails or the full length?

I have little to no knowledge of the "Quickjack" but I bought the "Full length" Steeda rails, 9#'s of oil changing, rotate & no worries at the dealers.

I have a Quickjack and Steeda full length rails. When the car was up on the jack the rails extended a bit out of either side. I'll try to find a pic that I took with the car up. Full contact with the platforms on the Quickjack when I don't use the rubber spacers that come with the kit.

I have no problems using my quickjack with my BMR full length jacking rails. You will definitely need and want the full length jacking rails as the shorter length will be smaller than the minimum jacking points for the quickjack.

I have the Steeda and I also use the quick jack rubber blocks,(but you really donr need them). Works perfect, and allows a little wiggle room for the quick jack placement.

I have that combo and don't have any problems. The rubber blocks touch enough of the rails to securely lift the car without it feeling unstable. The full length rails would no doubt be better but I don't see a need to change.

They both claim to be "ultra light", but the the full-length ones are slightly less weight. (11.6 vs 12 lbs) Why would I pay more for the shorter ones? Do they tuck up further under the car?

The new ones are more cost-effective as we have improved our manufacturing process with the full-length ones. There are still consumers that prefer the shorter ones for their own reasons.

Here’s my two cents. I have the shorter Steeda jacking rails and I am completely happy with them. Being able to lift two wheels off the ground at one time is fantastic. Plus, I’m not “jacking” up my pinch welds. Because they are shorter, I have my reservations about using them on a two post lift even though the product description says they can be used. I would have purchased the full length ones if they were available when I originally ordered.

No problem with my GT and the ful length Steeda rails. I use the rubber blocks that come with the Quickjack and it fits perfectly.

Anyone know the distance between the jacking points/pinch welds on the S550 without using jacking rails? I'd measure but car is in storage for the winter and considering a quickjack for other cars too. Is the shorter SLX long enough?

The spread is 60" on the BL-5000SLX and 66" on the BL-5000EXT They picture a Mustang on the EXT on their website.
