I also spoke with Tom at FP and it sounds like more delays are coming at least for some. He said FP was in the process of calling the dealers to get customer information so they can send an apology letter to customers and some type of gratitude gift. If you call FP, they will get your contact information from you directly. For 0670, it now looks like delivery in early January so potentially a month delay.

Thanks guys, it's all good. I could have done without the emotional rollercoaster the last 24 hours but, as I said, I am still grateful to be getting one. Not that I have much (or any) faith in the tracking system, but the visibility has an ETA range of 12/6-12/12. Just gonna see what happens.

For what it's worth, my car cover is at my dealership lol.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me through the last 24 hours, I appreciate all of you.

After my conversation today with FP, my impression is this was for the delays up to now, not further issues, or delays. As far as I have heard they will be updating the first built cars and any built in roughly November were already corrected prior to assembly.

Yes. For mine, it seems to be the time required to get through the mod shop.

I was told the same thing this morning when I called FP!

@Snoopy49 how May VIN’s have been “sent to plant” in the last week or two? Are they even slowing down to get what’s built out?? By the time this is over the 2020 GT500 might be more elusive than the 2015 GT350R

I can't wait till tomorrow to check Ford Tracking to see 0 days until delivery to my Dealership, knowing full well. Nope
Mine went to 0 days and now says 2 days, although the eta deliver date has stayed the same Nov 20th

Exciting, yea. But now I consistently gain an additional day each morning since November 13.

Update on shipping.
There have been no cars shipped, but 9 have been received for shipping. Going through 241 Produced/Received VINs looking for changes is sometimes rewarding.

About the eta countdown clock problem.
When you see your status changed to "In Transit / Shipped Rail or Convoy" that is when the eta clock actually starts to mean something, up until this time the delivery eta is not relevant. I think the eta, before shipping, is based on the normal manufacturing time line of the Mustang and the program treats the GT500 the same way it treats a Mustang, it assumes the Mustang will take X number of days to go from Released to Shipped and then adds the average time it takes to go from the ship location to the delivery location. We all know that the 2020 GT500 has not followed the normal time line.

Do they just flash a new EPROM in the gearbox or is this some sort of real "calibration" (read time-consuming)? Anyone know?
Kent, I believe its a flash of a new calibration into the PCM, and Bob's your uncle.

Side note, it seems like people are loosing interest around here. The content is drier than a popcorn fart
