I have been running the SVE 350 19x10 square with 285/35/19 Michelin 4S's It is great at the track but after 10+ days HPDE you can blow right thru the 4s's. Mine our about shot and at $1300+ for a set, is not fun... The Federal 595RS-Pro's look very interesting, at $600+ sounds a lot more fun... I do not drive this car much at all on the street, I go to the track to have fun and have learned a lot from people here at M6G, so I am very interested to find out what is a cost effective solution to the 4S's.

How is the 285/35/19 size working out for you at the track ? I want to go into that direction for next season but I will probably go with Cup 2's in that size.

The 4s's on 285/35/19 square are great at the track, the best upgrade yet , the Cup 2s I heard ware out a lot quicker, I am not a pro driver just like to have fun... But... Like I tell people the car handles better than I do... I have the Ford Track package on it and I have done stuff that I thought would put me in the weeds, but the thing is like a slot car. The 4S's are great other than the price.

Do you have to run any spacers upfront ? I wonder as I want to switch to same wheels for spring but I don't want to use spacers if possible.

This is my chart for figuring size and offsets and if they'll poke or hit hard parts. They are not backspace numbers and don't factor in the wheel bead lip so add 1/2" to the columns. I'm only concerned with barrel location.

outer inner
limit F 3.5-7 6.3-7
limit R ? 7.5-?
19x9 ET45 2.73 6.27 PP1

19x9.5 ET30 3.57 5.93
19x9.5 ET35 3.37 6.13 Centerline 670GM
19x9.5 ET40 3.2 6.3 Drag DR48
19x9.5 ET53 2.66 6.8 PP1

19x10 ET35 3.6 6.4 MRR M600
19x10 ET40 3.4 6.57

19x10.5 ET24 4.3 6.2 PP2
19x10.5 ET30 4.07 6.4
19x10.5 ET35 3.87 6.62
19x10.5 ET40 3.67 6.8
19x10.5 ET45 3.47 7.0 Centerline SM1 v7 (front=13+mm)

19x11 ET24 4.55 6.4 MRR M600, 2.5+ camber
19x11 ET30 4.3 6.7 clears, just!
19x11 ET50 3.53 7.47 MRR M600 rear

The widest possible rotatable wheel set without excessive poke appears to be 19x10.5 ET35 or ET40 (need slipon 5mm spacer up front) but 19x10 is smarter and will carry a 285 section tire.

I grabbed a set of the SVE R350 wheels in 19x10 this week since they had a big sale at LMR. The black wheels weren't on sale so I grabbed a set of the graphite ones, my wheels usually look graphite after a few minutes of driving anyway with the stock brake pads. I'll probably get a set of caster camber plates next, should I get the Steeda version or save up and get the Vorshalg ones? Are they worth twice the price?

Also, how important do you guys think the PP belly pan and air deflectors are for the track? Would it make a significant difference on the track vs. the standard belly pan and no cooling deflectors? Basically, is it worth $650? Which seems to be the going price.

very. I just bought the GT/PP bellypan for $130 from my local dealer. You were going to buy Steeda lateral links with bearings anyway, right? :) They come with the standard PP deflector. I haven't seen the Vorschlag deflectors in person but when I called they said the size was approx 6x6".

I'm thinking about the lateral links with bearings. If I do the PP belly pan I will most likely get them since I'll need the deflectors anyway. Any idea how big the standard PP deflectors are? Every time I think I'm happy with where my car is at I find something new it needs, which leads to multiple other things. :) I think with lateral links, camber plates, PP splitter/pan, and tires I'll be into the car another $2400 or so. Luckily I have the extended warranty, or else I'd be wanting headers, GT350 manifold, tune....... haha

I probably should have asked beforehand, but are the Steeda camber plates good? I just ordered a set.

They allow for a pretty good amount of camber, should be up to -2.8-3 deg.

OK thanks. Since it's my daily driver I'm thinking -2.0 camber or so? I believe they go to 2.8. I was looking at the Vorschlag version, which I believe you can adjust at the track, but I couldn't justify spending twice as much on camber plates.

I'd target -2.2.

Thanks. So -2.2 front with 0 toe and -1.5 rear with .10 toe? Would that work well for street and track?
