Here's an extremely quick-and-dirty diagram of how to mount to the crash bar. This would be a cross section view

You might be able to mount the support rod ends directly to the crash bar as well, now that I think about it...
yep seems solid. Thats very similar to what @Flyhalf did to his

LOL! I got the idea from his! Alex is a cool guy and very knowledgeable with this stuff.
Also, look up @LAPTIMZ on Instagram. He has a very clean build with chassis mounted aero

The more I think about it I don't want to bother anymore with it. If I do anything probably just buy the PP belly pan + splitter just for the cooling channels and that's it.

It is actually very simple.
The plates are alluminium by the way.
I want to point out one thing.
If you add the ZL1ADDONS lip itnis totally fine "stand alone" without. Support rods.
I tracked the car for a year without rods.
Up to 150mph.
If you are tracking the car very pftrn then i would suggest it.
Otherwise you totally fine without

@Flyhalf - you're a badass. Nice work on your car.
Also, I saw one your recent videos you posted. Loved the AC/DC Shoot to Thrill and the driving.

@Flyhalf Just curious what is that foam like substance between the lip and the ZL1 splitter? Im assuming it prevents any air getting in between?

Correct.
It also help to give a better angle of attack. After I put that i added the rods cause I see a better downforce. Paired witht he hood vents
