At first it can be intimidating just remember you don't have to solo until you feel comfortable! I trained in a 172, then bought a stationaire 206H, then sold it and upgraded to my current which is a TBM 930 I'll post a pic below of my baby. Flying is only as intimidating as you let it be but it sure makes getting from point A-B a breeze and after awhile flying is as easy as driving a car imo...

That is a beautiful plane dirty-max!

You guys heard this one, right?????
Loose an engine in a small twin and all the other engine does for you is take you to the scene of the accident.

Tom: There's a lot of truth in that statement and for sure the average pilot of a light twin doesn't get enough single-engine training or practice.

I flew Kingairs on active duty and as a reservist in the Training Command and saw a lot of single-engine mistakes. Unfortunately, one of my best friends was killed along with two students during a failed SE waveoff. As it turned out, the student was too short, had a fat aircraft manual behind his back, and when my buddy told the kid to go around, he jammed on the power but also stomped on the wrong rudder. This occurred about halfway between the 90 and final. They discovered that the boy's leg was locked stiff, there was nothing my buddy could do.

So yes, single-engine ops in almost any multi-engine aircraft can be dangerous but that danger is magnified in under-powered light twins.

Nope, I will be adding my own Wing and wheels.
I already Have My roll bar and spare trunk for Wing ready to go sitting Since August.
Did you go with a 4pt or a 6 pt cage?

^^^ Anyway, what I was getting at was that I had a bunch of 4pt cages custom built at Watson that saves 30 pounds off the standard DOM cage. You of all people would appreciate a savings of 30 pounds.

That's not too bad. I think you're safe to be built this year at least. You have a good buffer between your build day and the plant closure. Whereas I am down to no buffer. lol!
