I'll share an edited (redacted) version of what I have so you don't think Im full of crap. Its not a big deal, Im not divulging anything secret. All very cool Tom. Thanks man!
sat down with Bill who?In a very cryptic and secretive way. I haven't spilled the beans yet. I don't pass info that I am specifically told not to pass along. I was given permission to post this. I was going to get around to it later, but we just got done eating dinner and I wanted to finish watching the blacklist before I settled in and got this posted.
In a joking way he said he had a sit down with Bill last night and got things moving. He confirmed your spec and said "its on its way".
Kinda like a kid on Christmas, huh?
Like I said before, you of all people deserve this car.
I dont know. Like I said he wasn't making a whole lot of sense. Sounded like he was joking around. He sent me the video. That was the point of my message.sat down with Bill who?
Yes amazing. So you are confirming that those cars are on the way to Penske for stripes? Why the factory rollers on the white car? Any information you can provide would benefit all of the community. Any comment on the "quality issues" that have been rumored to delay shipping? Thanks.Snoopy already pretty much figured it out. Amazing how accurate his information is...

You have done great work and you should be commended for the time and effort you have put forth for others here on this forum.
Yes, looks a lot like one of my Rs waiting to go to the mod shop. Stealty, lolI like the clean trunk lid. Very stealthy. If you can call any 2020 GT500 stealthy.
Oh yes, indeed, I find all of this interesting. It is my understanding that the GT350R had the wing installed and the CF wheels installed at the Mod shop. It's probably the same process for the 500. As you pointed out, it is interesting how the rapid red had CF wheels on it with the wing installed, the white car had base wheels with a swing, and the black one had factory rollers with no rear aero. The stripes on the rear bumper suggest that it has been to the mod shop. It would be interesting to hear the story on the trunk lid. Do they drill the holes for the wing in the trunk lid at the Mod Shop? You would think that they would have different deck lids for the GT350's & GT500's. A different part number for each one, GT350, GT350R, Base GT500 and Base GT500 with CFTP option.
Tom: MANY thanks for posting the clip but I sure wish folks would figure out that shooting video should be done in landscape mode...geeze.A friend from flat rock sent this to me earlier.
