Hi All,

Been a GM guy forever, bought my first Ford in the form of a 2017 F-150 w/3.5 Ecoboost, just traded it on a '19 Mustang GT Premium w/PP1. Loving it so far, first mod is definitely going to be exhaust (non-active exhaust).

Hello Everyone!

It's a pleasure and honor to be able to join this mustang community. I've always thought I'd stay in the JDM lane forever until I saw a video about the GT350 a couple of years ago. At that moment, I was instantly addicted to the way its 5.2L FPC V8 sounded. I am fortunate enough to now call myself an owner of the 2020 Ford GT350 Shelby! I've named her the PAWG. Most frustrating part I am going through with her right now is the break-in period, it's so tempting to ride her ass hard right out of the gate!

Introduce yourself.
All right then, I was in the U.S. Army for four years and got medically discharged. I'll be done with college next month and hopefully start my MBA degree.
Enough of that, my first car was a 2012 Civic Si with 9k miles when I bought it. Got it to 76k or so and it kept burning two quarts of oil every 300 miles so I had it rebuilt and it did the same thing. Honda wanted to throw a used motor in it but after some research, it seemed like the K24 just loves to drink oil so I got rid of it.
This is my steed. I got it from a Ford Dealer in Phoenix, Arizona which is where I currently live. I would love to have meet ups and other awesome car related meets as I still have not gotten my bearings since I left.
Please don't be shy and if I could be rude, let's have some car talk.

Hi Everyone - I just picked up a 2016 Deep Impact Blue Mustang GT, Premium, Performance Package. It is paired with my 'other daily driver' and Time Trial/Autocross car, a Scion FR-S. Looking forward to participating in the forum.

I’m very excited to join the forum.
I’d been hunting the right S550 for me for about 6 months and finally settled on a still new 2018 Roush RS2 Trakpak and had it shipped to me.
I really love the car and it means a lot to me.
I’m looking forward to tastefully improving it in the power and handling department.

My name is Jason, I'm from SW PA. Recently sold my 03 Cobra and picked up something a few years newer. 17 GT with premium/performance pack, Recaro's etc. Car has 5k miles and lots of goodies. Dynoed 495whp on e85 and a full stable of bolt-ons. Really liking it so far.

2018 Royal Crimson Mustang GT A10 Base
Checking in from NorCal, Sacramento area, just picked up a 2018, GT Base A10, it was 16 months old with 13,000 miles on it and CPO. I don't really have a worthy picture yet but here's something.

First mod was Steeda Hood Struts and I have some jacking rails in hand I still need to install.

Need to fix some chips and do some paint correction (Adam's order on the way). Full lighting project on the way from Diode Dynamics and still trying to figure out what I want from Steeda for Black Friday, maybe the strut tower.

I've been commuting in 4 and 6 cyclinders for years, my other two V8's, the Chevy truck is just that, a truck, and the 351C in the 36 Cabriolet hasn't run for awhile, the misses wants no part of a convertible, hence the decision to buy the Mustang, a car I have loved since I was a kid, rather then fix the 36. This particular 36 felt like it had Mustang DNA with the 351C (all Ford running gear) and its 50's era street rod mods, 49 Merc IFS, 40 Ford dash, etc. When I was driving it around town it was fun but it wasn't the S550 Mustang, hard to stop, lots of roll in the turns, and always overheating.

In any case, the Mustang is the fastest and best handling car I have ever had, I sense the loose feeling on the hard pulls, which I assume is from the infamous wheel hop, but nevertheless, getting into performance mods and suspensions mods out the gate probably doesn't make sense for me, need to take my time getting to know the car and enjoying all the performance it does have so I will be focused on appearance, lighting, and maybe some audio to start.

I have the black accent package so I would like to enhance the look with gloss black mirror covers, gloss black 350 Track Spoiler, hood vents swapped out for gloss black ones. Maybe some subtle black striping, and black lug nuts. I've gone back and forth on whether I would like black door handles but that may be just a bit much. Eventually I would love something like a Cervini's upper and lower grille and a RTR chin spoiler but right now the stock gloss black grill at least works with the accent package. I may get the Drake grill inserts and have them painted to match the body.

I also want to enhace the look of the engine compartment, not really a fan of the engine cover, still deciding between ditching it altogether for Bullitt style fuel rail covers, or getting it painted to make it fit in better with body color accents and I have to do something about the coolant expansion tank and master brake cylinder resevoir. Haven't decided on black or body color covers yet or for not much more a Steeda coolant expansion tank though it seems overkill to get one just for looks and not the track.

Little backstory on how I arrived at chosing my car - Initially I was really interested in the Bullitt but it was more then I wanted to spend and the misses mentioned it looked like an old man's car. I kind of saw where she was coming from, so I was looking for more sports car or traditional Mustang colors, Race or Ruby Red, Kona or other Blue, Green/Lime, etc even though I have always been a fan of black cars it felt like I needed something more this time. Well, came across the Royal Crimson and believe it or not, it actually took me back to some Mustang models I built in Jr. High and painted burgundy. It may sound corny, but when I see the Royal Crimson I see the elegance of burgundy and the aggressiveness of a black car.

Hope all is well with everyone this holiday week!

2019 Mustang GT Premium
Good afternoon and happy thanksgiving everyone. Been an active subscriber and reader on other mustang forums and never knew about this one until a friend told me about it. Anywho, previous owner of a 12 GT Premium which I just sold and moved onto a 2019 GT Premium with every feature I could ask for. This car is absolutely amazing and more fun than any other car I have owned or drive (save for the 17 GT350 I almost bought). Has 6speed manual, 401a package (the 12" digital gauge cluster is jaw dropping), Performance Pack 1, Security Package, Safe and smart package, Magneride damping, active exhaust, and the Bang and Olufsen 12 speaker system.

Hi everyone my name is Aaron. I’m from Omaha, Nebraska. Just placed an order yesterday on a 2020 Iconic Silver Mustang GT PP2. It’ll be a 301A car with active exhaust and the optional Recaro’s. It’ll be my second Mustang as I briefly had a 2003 GT. Currently my daily is a 2019 F-150 XLT Sport with the 2.7 which I’ll be keeping as my daily. Looking forward to chatting with everyone in the near future.

2017 Premium GT
New to the Mustang world here. Just purchased a 2017 Premium GT, 6 spd manual, Performance pack. Car is all stock other than a Roush Catback. It was a overall great deal on the car which is what lead me to purchase it after my 2011 CTS-V was totaled. Looking forward to modding it as I already have a few things on the way.

Hey folks. Mark in St Petersburg Florida. It's been said..."a GT350 without stripes is like a stripper without a pole". Good one. No seriously that was good. Anyway, I bought a 17' Shelby GT350 Oxford White(no stripes) a few months back. Drove it 4800 miles to Utah and back.

I just got hood wrapped and the Brembos painted red.

Mark, I'm right the road from you in Oldsmar. Just bought a '16 GT convertible with a VMP blower already on it. Otherwise it would have been too slow. It was hard to let go of the 03 Cobra. Also nice to find this forum. SVT Performance was great for Terminator owners but there really wasn't much for late model Mustang owners. This forum seems to be the place.

Yeah, I'm on SVTP also, more so because I had a Lightning back in the day. Loved the 03-04 Terminators. I'm on some of the Corvette and HellCat forums too. Hope to see your GT at a show.
