I am looking to put a set of coilovers for my 2017 Mustang GT PP, my budget is around $1200. What are the best coilovers within this price point?

I have a set of Fortune Auto 500's that I got on a black Friday sale with swift springs for like 1000-1100 I cant recall. I put them on my car which is also a 17 gt w/pp. Super happy with my purchase. If you can hold out until next month with cyber Monday and black Friday sales I think some other sets will fall into your price range.

My car is also a 17 GT PP. The best bang for the buck for a street driven S550 for me has been the RaceLand Primo coilovers @ $699. They are 535lb front and 765lb rear springs, come with built in camber plates adjustable dampers, and adjustable front sway bar end links. Completely stopped the front nose dive on hard braking and really keeps the car flat on hard cornering. The only thing I don’t like about them, is that to adjust the camber you have to drop the whole assembly. Anyway if you go with RaceLand expect some of the guys here to talk crap because they are not a big name brand, etc, etc.....but you can smile and use the extra money for other upgrades lol!
The aggressive/expensive Viking and AFCO setups I use on my race cars and are awesome for those applications. Anyway the attached pic is the Raceland Primo coilover compared to PP assembly and the PP end link compared to the PP end link just before I put them on my 17.

Depends what you’re looking for... if you just care about slamming the car past what springs do, any budget C/O will suit you. If you’re not trying to slam it, the general consensus is to get quality dampers (Ford Racing, Steeda, Koni) with the springs you want (BMR and Steeda for good handling) as they will give you both better handling and comfort than budget coil overs

that said, stay away from K-Sport or other no name brands, had a set on a VW GTI and they were crap and made tons of noise

Anyone here have experience with Pedders eXtreme XA Coilover? How good and bad are they? The price and internet review seem very good to me.

Bilstein B6 shocks & struts ($700-800) or Ford Performance Track Dampers ($550-650) and Ground Control's coilover kit ($500). Custom rates available.

Steeda Coilovers (https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-front-coilovers.html) are $960 for the pair of fronts currently - probably less on blackFriday. A divorced-spring setup for the rear (Ford, Steeda, Bilstein etc) will round out to your price. There are quite a few KNOWN GOOD solutions without casting about for the "too cheap" stuff that looks all bling but doesn't actually work. Buy cheap, buy twice.

There's a set of recently rebuilt RideTech being offered for sale for $1500. Talk about some really good stuff!!

BC Racing, Pedders and YellowSpeed are all good options. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

I have had them on my car for 2,5 years now. Pretty happy with them, but I have nothing to put them up against.
0 issues with them, and I love the 30 way dampening. Really transforms the feel of the car.

This month's Grassroots Motorsports had a good shock test between Koni yellows and springs, inexpensive ISC Coilovers, and high end MCS Coilovers.

While I have always been wary of cheap coilovers, the ISC's did pretty well. I still wouldn't trust BC Racing coilovers however.

I have the entire Steeda Pro-Action coilover struts/springs and camber plates on the front and their Pro-Action shocks and height-adjustable springs on the rear. I bought direct from Steeda and the total came in right around your price point. Have had it since February and no complaints.
