It was a tough decision but I just wasn’t in love with the convertible and the GM/dealer incentives on the unsold 2019 Camaro SS models were SO good. First, I love the S550, incredible car. For me, the Camaro feels super solid and planted in cornering as well, along with power on tap just about anywhere in the rev range. Also went for the A10 which is absolutely fantastic (I know, pretty much the same as Mustang A10). Also has dual mode exhaust, very similar to Active exhaust, and it rocks!

I REALLY admire and respect this group. Everyone is pleasant, helpful and kind. I doubt the Camaro forums will be this robust and will miss it. Take care and happy motoring!

Congrats, great looking car! I've always considered myself a "car guy" not a Ford, Porsche, or "insert brand here" guy. Cool cars are cool cars. And your new Camaro looks awesome.

Thanks, man! I’m the same way.

Btw, I have a K&N filter with less than 100 miles on it if anyone is interested. Open to fair offers.

Yeah, someone buy that and my Mishi intake tube and you've got a kickass intake system that uses the factory cold air inlet and is shielded from heat soak.

Nice SS! Love that color. I did the same thing pretty much except I sold the Mustang instead of trading it. I really liked my '19 GT base manual but the 2K rpm grind was starting to expand in the range and I got tired of it. Got my GT so cheap, I hardly lost much when I sold it.

Have a '19 SS A10 as well. This thing is no joke. Love the combination of serious performance and good comfort.

Congrats. Nice car.

Why no trade in on a 2019 Mustang GT?? I got 0% financing for 6 years on my Roush, did they not have 0% financing when you were buying? If not, I can understand that.
Both are great cars, but the Mustang looks A TON better from all the angles and interior wise.

I imagine when it came time to get a new car, the OP wanted something in the same category, but different. A new GT, while looking amazing and performing even better, would have seemed like getting the same car with some mods.

the Camaro will feel new and all it’s quirks will feel new. Congrats on getting what you wanted. All that matters.

I did not test drive anything else competing against the Mustang...and I regret not doing that. I could see jumping for a great deal.

Yeah, get what you like.

Though, funny enough, when I was shopping a replacement to my '16 GT convertible, after considering a ZL1 convertible, I found owning another GT was much more enticing to me. I also went from a 6-speed to an A10, and made sure to get the 401a so my driver view would change a bit (with the LCD display), and it almost feels like a completely different make/model.
