As much as I want to enjoy these cold temps.... I realize my boost is increasing as the weather gets colder. I saw 12.5 before 7000 rpms lastnight in 5th gear. 12.5 , 13lbs... is that to much boost on 93?

I doubt any tuner would tune you that close to the edge. That cold weather would run you lean. Enjoy the extra power.

I second adding boostane or torco, or even lucas octane booster. OP what power adder are you running? When i first got my procharger stage 2 d1sc for my 14 GT i wasnt running a boost gauge at first and it turns out procharger gave me too small of a pulley. After i got tuned and installed the boost gauge was seeing 14 psi at 7000 rpm on a gen 1 motor. I was running lucas octane booster with 93 pump gas, which does not boost octane as much as boostane or torco but i gaurantee that is the only reason my motor didnt blow up. Being that you are on this forum i know you have a gen 2 or 3 coyote, which are a lot stronger than the gen 1, but still if you're seing more than 12 psi it would be very smart to throw some octane booster in there. It only takes one tank of bad gas to blow up a motor

No tune is needed for boostane.

All it does is raise the octane level for added safety Incase your Boosting too much (over boosting) or get a bad tank of gas.

I would agree that its skimming the limits of what you will want to be seeing on a 93 tune. I would honestly dial it back a tad during these cooler months or get some e85 in there.

Natural with more dense air like this, Add a can of octanium in each tank and run the piss out of it.. Or you may be fine with the colder IATs and straight 93 will suffice. Log it and review

This is why I went up a pulley size. Pushing the edge of what 93 can do with IAT's in the 40 degree range is probably a bad idea.

Knock sensors will pull a couple degrees if needed, I wouldn't worry. But you can run some Boostane or Torco for peace of mind
