Of course it’s sidewalls only, although I know people that do the whole tire. Problem is I have to remove the dressing with brake cleaner before going through the water box at the track and was wondering if there is a product that won’t make the tires slick as soon as water hits them.It was my understanding that tire dressing....is for the sidewalls....and not the treads.....?

Recently, I've really started liking Hyper Dressing mixed 1/4 for fender wells and tires. Some of the things I like about it are a gallon is only around $20 and makes 4 gallons when diluted for a matte finish, you can spray it on wet tires and plastic parts after a wash and just leave it to dry (it self levels), and it's great for engine bays (Found out about this product on Obsessed Garage).I like a matte finish so I use

Cover All mentioned earlier. from what I have used hands down the best for shine and available at O’Reillys (Superior Products also makes a very good wheel cleaner)
