I'm curious to know how to get a more pure/raw engine sound. I suppose a resonator delete is a one step, but I don't think that's all.

I like those classic cars that all seem to have a very metallic/robotic/machine sound, and the sound really good even just when parked and idling at low RPM.

What mods to get a more pure engine sound that is amazing even just parked with low idle?

This is it:

Try the Corsa Double Helix x-pipe resonator delete. There are plenty of youtube videos which allow you to hear the sound. It is double the cost of the other x-pipe delete options, but the sound is very unique.

Are you wanting more sound out of the exhaust tips, or from the engine bay?

It really sounds to me that you're thinking of cars with bigger cams in them. Are you talking about the loping idle or do you just want a louder idle?

Cat delete makes it sound much more raw in my opinion. Much louder as well.

More raw noise in the cabin? Try a rear seat delete if you don't use your back seats. Aside from that, all the options listed in this thread including getting long tubes headers. It really comes down to sound preference.
