Did anyone else notice these JDRF car didn't have a front splitter or wickers?

The GT500 must be a Christian because it has two crosses on each side in the floor pan of back seat. That will protect everyone that buys one from getting into a crash.

The GT500 has larger rotors on the front so the calipers are different as well. Also required 20” wheel to clear them.

heavier car, more power, faster speeds on the track require more braking power and it’s supposed to be the flagship car so it will have better brakes. The GT350s brakes are outstanding imho.

If you Look closely you can see the CF driveshaft at the rear. The end is a pressed and glued aluminum flange that connects to the differential. You can see the CF if you zoom in.

I just saw the GT500 at the Fort Worth Auto Show. It looked really great. It was nice to see that it was locked to keep out the sticky fingered kids trying to get in.

it sounds more evil than your typical cross plane crank American V8. It’s as if they learned lessons from the apocalyptic, silk-tearing, chainsaw-from-hell sounds of the GT350 and applied it to the GT500. It sounds nastier than any GM motor IMHo. The ZR1 sounds glorious, I know, but this thing sounds even more pissed.
