You can go 180 in first gear?!
Haha who says the 6 speed is slow? Just keep it in first, that's the secret.

I will say it was one of those things that after done, I felt like a moron driving like those I berate. All traffic in the area knew I was angry for a second and luckily nothing unexpected happened. I completely agree with the crowd around me calling me an asshole driver. Was dumb but done now. Was the time that happens every few years where displaced anger and impatience boil over. Was a little fun though...

I'm torn between fixing my winter beater or buying a set of snow tires/rims for the mustang. Both will run me about the same price.
Here in Toronto, I'd be looking at a close to CDN$2000 between insurance and licensing annually, on top of the beater purchase, and probably winter tires, since the beater would likely come with all seasons already down to the wear bars. Plus I'd have to store the beater somewhere in the summer (one car garage, and the Mustang's home) as I don't want to have to shuffle cars. Krown rust proofing costs me $150 annually and works great, our 2015 Rogue has gone through 4 winters and is still super clean on the bottom and nothing showing on the doors, rockers or wheel arches. The only rust on the 2010 Sonata that went when the Mustang arrived were where the stone chips on the hood finally started coming through after touch ups.

My mustang is my main vehicle here in NJ - Luckily I can work from home when the weather is inclement. Otherwise I'tll stay in the carport whenever their is snow coming.

Dont drive my gt in snow or rain (if possible) if it rains it rains. But never take her out in a storm. Mine sits nice and prestine in the garage washed and waxed. Taken out on my days off or when im not working.

I live in MN... I drive my GT year round. In the last 10 years I've driven my 2010 Camaro 2LT, 2012 Camaro 2SS, 2015 Mustang GT, 2019 Mustang GT year round. I use all season tires in the winter. I haven't tried snow tires yet.

I drove my 04 and then my 07 year round in Chicago. If I still had a Mustang, would still drive it everyday

I plan to order a Bullitt soon. I do not want it to arrive before the winter over. My 2015 eco-boost took 4 months to come.
Can I expect the same time delay?
My recently ordered 2020 came very quickly.

First winter with the Mustang here in CO, just fitted Pilot Sport A/S3 + for the cold days. I won't be as hard core as you snow pony folks (have an FJ Cruiser with Blizzaks for that), but those P-Zeros as expected were dangerous in the cold. The A/S3's will allow me to extend the driving season.

Year round! Putting the Bizzaks on tomorrow. I drove it several times last year in some pretty bad conditions. I was amazed at well she went.

On the drive this morning: temperature 25° F, Inlet temp 30° F.
I may be new to driving Mustangs, however, I think my "butt-dyno" detected a noticeable boost from the low temperature.

Just curious how many people drive their car through winter ? Like actual snow not this Florida winter crap lol
Hey, I resent that!...lol, just because we don' t have actual SNOW... we do have the dreaded SNOWBIRDs clogging the roadways going 25 in 55 (in the left lane)... and making right turns from the left lane...:curse: it makes you want to leave the Mustang in the garage. <disclaimer-I have never even seen snow before>
