Enabling Drive Modes 2019 Base GT ???

So is there a certain year 8”screen and APIM that works best for this upgrade on my base 19 GT model? Do they have to be Mustang specific?

Any sync 3 screen/apim will work....if it’s not from a Mustang you will need the screen brackets which can be had online for like $20 bucks. Preferably you want a 2019 3.3 Apim and screen(there was a guy selling them in the classified section for 250, I got one and they are legit). Then you need a sync 3 bezel which is a bit harder to find right now, I got lucky and found a recaro bezel(no seat heat or cooling buttons) on eBay for cheap, Hextalls550 on here is trying to get brand new ones from Ford for everyone but we are still waiting. That’s all you need except the odb2 dongle and forscan to make changes on the software side

I appreciate the response. This helps greatly!! If I want the Apple CarPlay then I need a new usb setup too, correct?

No. If you have a 2019 then you only need what I mentioned above.
