Smallest rear wheels on gt?

With the larger rear brakes on the gt, what is the smallest diameter wheels that fit the rear?

On the GT, the smallest diameter you can do is a 17" rim. A 16" rim will fit on a base eco or v6.

Any specific prior generation wheels that we know fit the rear? I'm looking for super cheap wheels to put on the rear for after autocross drift fun.

Yea the 99-04 GT wheels will fit. 17x10.5 cobra reps fit well to from what I've seen. I haven't tried anything 05-09 and I think the cobra r wheels have too small of diameter holes where the lugs go to fit the bigger lugs of the s550.

Lug holes are a none issue, here in this picture are some old school centerlines from my 86 SVO mustang on my 17 GT, the 17 lug nuts also seat perfectly.
