Excellent photos, Jarstang. Impressed by the hood and hood vent. Would love to see CF side mirrors, as well.

Wow that is a lot of carbon fiber! Interesting to see Ford Performance CF parts as well. I'm just imagining that rear spoiler and gurney flap on my GT...

I like how you kept the shelby lettering in the front splitter. Would this fit a gt350, as the only thing that has stopped me buying an AC splitter is the lack of the lettering which I'm not a fan of.

I like to disassemble things.
Nice photos.

Makes anyone that ordered the Handling Package rethink choosing that option now that these pieces will be available.

The CF hood on a CFTP is the way to go for weight reduction unless they price it outside of any kind of sense. Saving weight, however is not an inexpensive proposition.

:bandit:Wondering if these panels and their alignment will suffice for @1MEAN18

Yes. Wonder if the carbon fibre bumper cover is lighter as well. Would not expect much

I was referring to best weight savings. The weight savings vs cost effectiveness for small plastic molded ABS vs CF pieces probably have a huge expense and minimal weight savings.

Now on the other hand if you are a guy who wants to CF bling your car out for aesthetics at any cost, yes these parts and pieces are cool as hell.

The biggest news here is the CF hood and GT4 wing IMHO. If you were one of the unlucky few who wanted a CFTP and couldn't get one, this would be a big step to get that look and performance. Over time, just like with the GT350R, the wheels will become more available.

I'm getting the CFTP. I have interest in the CF hood for track days. For the street, I'll use my painted over the top striped hood.

He's not a bad guy. Someone got in his face and he stuck up for himself. I've seen a lot worse around here.

Tom: I always welcome a good debate as long as both parties maintain civility. But when one party begins to slander the other, I'll pass. Such behavior is both unnecessary and undesirable. If you have to resort to name calling, your position loses all credibility and I just don't want to waste words with someone like that. Thankfully, a very smart person long ago came up with the idea of an Ignore feature.
