This car was actually quicker down the 1/4 than the Corvette was that year. I know a business owner here in town who has 2 of these, they are getting pretty rare and hard to find these days.

I remember a magazine comparison between the GLHS and the original GT350 Mustang when that Chrysler product first came out.

Sorry, but no I don't think it's cool. Yes, faster than the 1966 GT350, but not cool.

Always wanted to run against a CSX to see how badly I'd get whooped in my Sundance. There was one in the town I lived in but never got the chance.
Love all those turbo Mopars. From the LeBaron down through the Shadows, they were all a hoot. I got into the new car market a little too late to score one, but my V6 Sundance was pretty fun too.

Had a buddy in the 90's who ended up with a wrecked GLHS in his family tow yard. Got it running / driving, some mods here and there and that thing was a blast to drive. They weighed NOTHING. After that car he went on a Dodge / Chrysler / Mitsubishi turbo kick for quite a while. He swore them off after having a money pit AWD Eclipse that was super fast and fun when it wasn't spitting head gaskets or breaking something. LOL.

In the town I lived in (Gillette, WY), just about everyone who bought an AWD Diamond Star ended up with a trashed clutch from too many clutch dumps on dry pavement.

Mine was babied...except for when I hit a deer on the interstate. :-(
