06/05/19: I work on the Board of Directors for the Santa Rosa Wednesday Night Market. I made arrangements to have my car club to be on display for one of the events.

Hey man, what are the details of your rotor break-in procedure?

Hey bud, I made 10 stops from approximately 35 mph with even, moderate pressure. Make an additional 3 hard stops from approximately 50 mph. Do not allow the vehicle to come to a complete stop. When completed with this process, park the vehicle and allow the brakes to cool completely before repeating the process again. Do not engage the parking brake until after this cooling process is compete.

I found that process on a pad manufacturer website. It worked well and the brakes work without any issue.

07/08/19: Did ANOTHER exhaust change (My 4th I think). Lets walk through this...

1. MBRP Street w/H-pipe.

2. MBRP Street w/Magnaflow #12469 Y-Pipe Resonator (Still keeping that around for Laguna Seca)

3. MBRP Street w/MBRP Bullet Resonators (Now true dual exhaust)

Haven't posted in a while but I got lots of big plans and parts coming in. Here's a little catch up.

Added a custom touch.
PSX_20190917_114555.jpg

Became an instructor for the SCCA a few months ago.

Ordered a very large custom part for the car. Still waiting on that...

Got this.
20190930_110556.jpg

Organized a Dyno Day with Pearson Fuels a couple weekends ago.

Uncovered an electrical issue with the car's IMRC and resolved it. Went back to the dyno

This was on 91 pump gas, I'll go back on e85. It runs pretty healthy now. The first 2 runs were probably flukes so were realistically looking at 477-483HP/377-379TQ.
I really liked that 2nd run though lol.

These came in. Still waiting on the spacers though...

Hey 2morrow any chance you have decibel numbers for each of your exhaust setups?

I really want to go 3" all the way from my headers back but I'm worried about the volume for Open Track Days.

Hey @tevaburns I did do a bunch of sound recording on a few set ups on this video but I have not done anything yet on the new set up.

With that being said I can definitely take some measurements with the new set-up and post them for you.
3" pipes on headers will be pretty loud no matter what muffler you have. I might suggest some bullet resonators at the very least.

My current configuration will definitely be too loud for Laguna Seca (or weathertech or whatever the hell they're calling themselves now)
but I kept the Magnaflow Y pipe resonator for that track. Thunderhill and my home track of Sonoma is no problem but I don't have headers.

Hello Great build by the way! I have a question for you and its about the Verus Engineering Functional Diffuser. Which exhausts have you used that fit with the diffuser and which have not?

Hey thanks, appreciate it!

In regards to the Verus Diffuser, the exhaust part gets tricky. I had a MBRP street that I reconfigured to fit but I broke that at the track so I went to a fully custom exhaust with some flow through Maganaflow muffers with 12" resonators. It fits just fine now with plenty of room for fine tuning of angles. I know that the AWE exhaust kits will work as well as another magnaflow muffler and the stock system.
