GT 2015 Hellion TT/“predator”long block/fully built 6r80

I have been kicking this idea around for a couple of years but I think it’s finally time to let her go .

This is to just get started and I will clean thread up and add pictures as needed .

Summary :
New Engine - less than 1000 miles with predator based 5.2 short block /longer 12 mm ARP head studs .
Manley 11: 1 pistons /rods-H tuff
ARP main studs .
GT 350 heads with ford racing GT 350 spec cams / MMR valve springs .
5.2 Oil pump with billet gears/CS.

Hellion TT with precision BB 62’s

3 inch Bassani cat back with X pipe.

Intake is GT 350 with IMRC lock out . Julio Meth kit for IAT .

MSD 2 step .

Fuel is JPC Triple pump return with ID1300

Transmission freshly rebuilt with new Excedy clutches / billet forward planetary gears and intermediate shaft .

One piece aluminum drive shaft

3.31 iron diff (out of manual )

800 DSS axle and BMR stop the hop kit/Vertical links .

Adjustable shocks -Warrior Vikings (have the crusaders uninstalled )

Adjustable yellow Koni. struts .

BMR drag springs .

Brakes are Aerospace street fronts

Currently also have double rears with no handbrake but will have the stock rears installed if buyer wants

JPC line lock.

Interior is 9/10 with leather Recaro custom gauges -oil pressure /temp , fuel pressure , boost , E85 percentage sensor .
EBoost 2 controller custom mounted with spare slot for Ngauge .

Exterior is 7/10 since their is small gap with the quick release bumper latch and minor blemishes.

Wheels -are meh ! I used AMR 18’s for daily but will come with brand new Nitto 555R’s .

Will also come with set of dark star with M&H 275/40 17 on 17x 9.5 wheel and 17x7 fronts (can’t recall name of tire )

Body has 24,000 miles approx .

Buyer will have option to buy a another fully built 5.0 long block (a sleeved alluminator /ported GT heads /track flow springs /all ARP hardware) at very reduced price of $7.5K if they want a warranty(Including precision rebuilt 55 JB turbos )
With my luck with these cars/power levels I try to keep as much “spare “ stuff that I can.

No longer has sleeved 5.2 block but Predator based RPG built 5:2 block
Best engine I have had in the car .
It’s silky smooth !
Car made 900 whp on 13 psi .
1100 on 17 psi .

Not been to strip since new engine/rebuilt transmission but I may make a pass with the street set up .
Can come with 15 inch race star wheel set up as seen below

Last time I made a pass was 9/3/2018 with old motor . Leaving soft .
Aerospace street fronts and are just gorgeous.

The old block has since rebuilt by L&M . It’s a badass block and has been converted to use 12 mm head studs . It could come with car if buyer wants for a price .

Fastest pass to date is 9.3 (back to back ) old motor .
June 27 2018 .(Made 4 passes last year )

Leaving off 2 step at 3000 /3 psi .

Aerospace brakes will hold car up to 3700 rpm
On 2 step/6 psi so should 60 better .

Well .... since no bites I decided to make a pass in full street trim as you could daily . I just aired down the drag radials to 19 psi .
Did not even take my work computer bag out of the car .
Heavy 18 AMR wheels (about 35 lbs each )
18 inch ET R ‘s - 305/45 so they are tall!- in the back and 255/40’s in front .

First time out with new rear brakes /GT 350 intake /spraying meth for IAT and new motor with 1000 miles /rebuilt transmission with 400 miles .
I knew I would only make one pass and was nervous as hell .
My head said NO but I needed to make sure it runs right . I was not trying to run a number and did not stay long on the 2 step but left @ may be 2-3 psi

Ran like a scalded ape the back half . Boost peaked at 18 psi per E boost .
held timing all the way but IAT peaked at 140(saw 170 before meth )
It was hit out -about 85 -90 (more like 90 )
Per density air density temp was 85* and DA was 3500!
Car rsn perfect “purring” all the way home .

Some one come get her before I change my mind !

Buyer will have option to buy L&M sleeved 5.2 short block with car for $8500.
It’s 12:1 compression and has 12 mm head bolt conversion if you really want to turn up the power.

This is a no expense spared $12000 block

This was with 17 inch big and littles
With new motor(predator based block / ford racing cam upgrade ), it trapped 5-6 mph faster in heaviest ever trim /18 inch tires .
Should be easy high 8 sec car with decent 60.
New transition with billet planetary gears should take abuse of transbrake.

Aerospace rear brakes are now fixed so it should get low 1.3x 60’s even without transbrake .
Brand new 15 inch ET pros should make sure if that .

Tracks are all closed around here till April but secretly hoping it does not sell before then so I can make that 8 sec pass .

Car has the power train drag racers were hoping the GT500 would have ... for half the price (including spare short block ) . Lol

still only a little over 1000 miles on engine since it’s only driven a few miles most days .
