I have a 2019 Mustang GT 5.0, It is automatic with the 315 gears. I want a induction kit that produces between 675 and 700 RWHP

at the wheels with tune. I also want to keep the Fuel system stock. What is a better option at around $6,000 Plus install and

plus tune. I hear On3Performance has an ok turbo kit for $4,800 plus a few parts upgrading the turbos to ceramic is $700

more. What do you all think. Any better suggestions?

With stock injectors you won't get very far IMO. Consider upgrading the fuel system or the critical elements of it.

If you want to keep it simple, go with a supercharger. You'll make the power you want and reduce the complexity of the installation. You can run your factory exhaust manifolds. My personal experience is with procharger. I have no complaints and it was easy to install. Check with @beefcake on pricing, he's been there for me a million times.

Any of the kits will get you to that 675-700 range. What are your goals with the car?

Literally any kit will get you to your goal. You can keep stock fuel pump, upgrade injectors, and run a BAP.

It all comes down to what kind of power delivery you want. To oversimply it, turbo will give it to you in the midrange, PD will give you low end grunt, and centri will give it to you in the high end.

On3 is cheap but the jury is still out on quality. Some say good things, some say bad. Fitment is generally not as good as higher end options. Personally for your conservative goal I would go supercharger as it can easily reach your goals and less complexity than a TT setup.

With a '19, you can get away with smaller injectors needed than previous years. Any FI kit will get you to that range. If you want an all-in-one kit, the Whipple is hard to beat.. especially with 15% off being offered here for Black Friday.

I see you're in Tampa as well.. I have plenty of shop recommendations if needed for install. Drop me a message and we'll go through your options.

He’s full of shit. See if he’ll put his money where his mouth is and bet you the cost of a kit. I guarantee ordering a stage 1 EB or ProCharger kit won’t give 675WHP on 91 pump gas. Vendors are very clever in saying things to mislead people into spending money.

It’s really sad, most canned tunes are meh, guys r having issues, etc

I’m lucky in the fact I have good 93, access to Sunoco GT 100 if needed

I’d think a EB Stage 1 or Whipple Stage 1 would make slightly over 600rw even with a canned tune a mix of 93/100

Again the biggest problem from what we’ve seen is drivability, these canned tunes are fair at best

Man, I’d kill for real 93, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone that actually used the stuff or seen it first hand, but sounds wonderful. Sounds like you are keeping tabs on the things actual users have said about the canned tunes. Don’t forget what you’ve been picking up and get suckered into the hype that can get generated with some cleverly worded statements. One thing is for sure, FI is super fun on these cars and even 600 whp is enough to roast any tire.

We made ~ 750whp with the Whipple tune on a stage 2. We did have headers, though, so we expect low 700s on a completely stock car. We rate the stage 1 kit at 650whp with headers, 600-625 w/o.
Pump 91 is terrible.. Subtract at minimum 25whp between all these numbers. Custom tuned you'll see a more aggressive curve and more peak power. I believe PBD saw ~ 640-50 with a stage 1 stock car w/ a custom tune. The stage 2 kit should initially get you into the goals wanted.

Drivability is ok. We never had issues, but we always threw in some boostane (octane booster) for safety reasons. Once we went custom tuned, we went straight to E85. You'll always have better drivability with a custom tuned with proper datalogging/revisions.

In regards to the 2650, Edelbrock reported ~625whp with the stage 1 on a stock car. They're both very similar in regards to the complete kits (all provided by manufacturer).

I would assume these numbers are with a 6sp (I’m an A10) but from the limited info I have it still looks like the whipple tune seems to respond a bit better to a 93/additive better than the EB tune

Not interested in headers at all

600rw is more than enough for me, I live by a FAST TRACK (Atco) so we get -DA’s

On a tire 600RW should go 10’s all day long, that’s what I’m after, a 10 Sec street car.

Having the canned tune would be better for me, if I could truly live with it

Man, I wish we ran 8.9s with the 6spd! lol. Ours is a PP1 + magneride A10. VERY heavy car.

Check-out that link.. it shows everything about the car and our progress. We ran 10.39 with a Whipple tune (only made 3 passes EVER on the Whipple tune, too.. We were so anxious to go E85). During our two months or so on the Whipple tune, we never ran into a major issue. There was an initial issue with the TB (initial start up), but Whipple sent us a revision.
You will hit 10s with a tire and some suspension. We run our bread & butter kit with BMR magneride springs.
I wish we had DA like that.
