Trying to figure out what airbox to use for drag racing is stupid. Everyone knows you drop some dry ice on rad/intake between runs. I don't even drag race and I see tards with di blasting around town in their turbo-bangers in the summertime. I've done this myself for the Woodward cruise, in my BMW. Professionals racers do this too.

Cold air intake are not for drag racing, they are for improving the engine performance/characteristics when driving.

The CAI I see on their site has a closed box so AIT’s should be fine. Probably no better but no wrong either.
