Part of the reason I decided not to get windshield tint again was I got tired of taping my registration and inspection every year. Some years I would forget and razor my fucking tint when removing the stickers.

What do you do for your windshield stickers? I think I’ve seen like a small thin plastic container that sucks onto the windshield that you can slip the stickers in, but could never find it
I’ve been in Myrtle Beach for a little over two years and totally forget about having window stickers. We have a registration sticker on our plates. Do not know about inspections because both of cars are new.
Couldn’t you have your tinter cut a corner out to allow for the stickers?

I've thought about that, but it would make it too obvious that I have windshield tint. When I have the top down, you can't even tell there's tint on it, 50% is already very light.

Edit: Looks like they make clear double sided removable film for your stickers now, specifically for tint.

Interesting, I normally just buy a laminate at stables n tape it with scotch tape but I will look into this...

After running no windshield tint for a couple months, I find myself constantly putting my sunglasses on and off. I think I’m going to look for something very light for the windshield again. 80% if I can find anyone carrying it, and just double the 5% tint strip length on top so it comes down more.

Even with no windshield tint, all it takes is a cloudy day for everything to look blacked out

You can go with a light ceramic tint. Solely for the purpose of heat rejection. I have 70% on mine. Cannot even tell.

Do you notice any color distortion or issues with driving at night? What about wearing polarized sunglasses.

No issues at night at all. Some of my polarized sunglasses do give me a rainbow effect but it’s minor. I have no issues with my Serengeti drivers. Very glad I did it.

27% per SC Law. Don't need any extra attention from the cops!

Love driving over the Ravenel bridge in the background.

526 loop is fun driving as well.

Tint looks good!

Those of you who have ceramic, do you recommend it? Vegas sun is brutal.
Yes. I have Pinnacle F1 30% on door and rear, nothing on windshield. Makes a huge difference. I had a Mgnum that had a 20% metallic on the doors and I could feel the heat on my arm and face. Don't really feel it much if at all with the 30% ceramic.

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm in SWFL.

In New York they test the windows during the yearly inspection now. I am looking to get 3m crystalline. If I want to stay legal 70% is max on the windshield and side windows. But the windows themselves must block some light, so wouldn't even a 70% tint be illegal?

Put ceramic on the windshield. Takes heat rejection to the next level. Worth every penny!
