yes, hundreds of dimples all over it. Bonnet, roof, boot, all the side panels (only the plastic parts have been spared). The roof sides where the door windows meet are even bashed in.

The wife was driving it back to Brisbane so I was unaware until she parked out the front and came in bawling her eyes out.

I took one glance at the bonnet and decided it best not to look anywhere else. Took me days to inspect the rest of it.

Queensland would be a great place to live, but the constant threat of hailstorms is part of the deal I guess.

Got assessessed on Saturday.. Not a write off thank goodness. New Bonnet, Boot lid and everything else hammered out, they told me there will be no evidence of any damage left behind. :-)

Queensland is a great place to live, Oh and the hail, don't have it in Cairns, which is also in Queensland.

I can't speak for Cairns, But Cyclones this way in Central Queensland, we had Cyclone Marcia in 2015, the one before that was Cyclone David 1976, and hardly any hail storms, How often do you get hail storms in "the Great South East"?
With Cyclones, we get plenty of warning too, to tether things down ;) .
All the same we need some rain now, at the moment I don't care if it comes in the form of a cyclones or a hail storm :( ,
