Does anyone know if the TVS2650 has a bypass valve?

I’m not really familiar with supercharged cars except the Audi 3L.

In that package the blower is bypassed for emissions, economy and drivability until
Full boost is needed. Then it operates similar to a wastegate.

basically, with a simple tune you can unleash over 400hp on the Audi by tuning the bypass in simple terms.

I bring this up because DA doesn’t affect systems like this nearly as much as NA platforms. It runs more like a turbo unit.

The TLDR is this, let’s all gather around here lol

this car will run high 10s with a tire or better track prep, DA whatever. It has the same power to weight ratio as a red eye so like I’ve said before unless the DCT can’t make a cake the time between the too will be very comparable

My last car was 816 rwhp A6 an I could not do 11.3 on MPSS tires.

The DCT and traction control are doing work on this car.

I come from the build a GT monster world, so I am speaking first hand experience. I’ve built many. I have had 16 or more GT mustangs.

Kills me when I see people think they can slap parts at a car and actually perform. Soooo much more involved.

In this picture it looks like a better hook.

This car needs to run 10.7 or better on stock tires in good conditions.
Hellcat Redeye runs 10.7 to 10.8 on stock tires in good conditions.
Hellcat Redeye runs 10.3 on drag radials.

I will be disappointed if the GT500 doesn’t do the same or better.

As long as the car is quicker than the previous gt500 this new one is good. Cant wait for the track reviews.

If you guys think this thing will do some low 10's blistering time on Pilot Sport 4S's, I'd highly recommend putting yourself on suicide watch.

I like to disassemble things.
Wonder what tire pressures they are running - I'd assume stock, right off the assembly line.

I wouldn't put any confidence in the factory setting air pressures consistently. Not to mention what they slap on the sticker is hardly "optimal" for all use cases and ambient temps.

I find it hilarious that these magazine "testers" do such a profoundly bad job of controlling for variables. And similarly people putting any credence in claimed "factory" times as if that was a repeatable observation by the purchasing public. I mean come on, if the numbers are worse by 0.5 second vs some other car (again, NO effort made to control for variables), who cares?

they all go fast as hell. I can't imagine a second or more spread between the gamut matters a damn (truthfully dominates the evaluation matrix) to people willing to put the necessary funds down.

I think the factory overinflates them to 40 PSI as a standard practice so if they sit on the lot for sale for a while they dont get flat spots as easily
